This is what my Wolves pal said...

Hi Mate.Magical player with huge potential and has the lot. Sometimes he is on such a level above those around him, even he doesn't know what hes gonna do next.
Unfortunately he has a chip on his shoulder and is not a team player. Hence why Wolves got shot. Interestingly at Coventry on loan he didn't bother turning up for team meetings or training in time but was still their best player.
In short, superb player but ruins it with attitude

I have not heard a thing. I thought it would be a striker.

According to Red Henry we have been talking to him for a week. But Bowyer says it is not a striker, so I am confused.

Didn't he play as an attacking midfielder rather than striker for Coventry? Maybe Bowyer doesn't consider him a proper striker.
That said, with Williams, Maddison & arguably Aneke - we're loaded with attacking midfielders!

I think the player could be Josh Clarke. We had him on trial. He was given a one month contract by Wigan and has now been released.

What a self centred prick Lyle Taylor is :emoticon-0132-envy:

Having finally scored his first goal for Forest last night, he took the opportunity to have a dig at the ex Forest manager Sabri ...saying that he had been “promised” he would be played as part of a certain formation when he joined Forest ...and this hadn’t happened.

Typical Taylor you self absorbed prick

Adam Matthews to sign today, one year contract. An excellent signing and we can now alternate in every position.

That gives us two Championship -standard right backs in League One. Gunter has been excellent so far. Our prospects are starting to look very good. The one missing piece in the puzzle is always the hardest to fill - a proven goalscorer.,

The squad depth is unrecognisable to what it was 3 weeks ago. Well done to Sandgaard. You can question the quality of a couple of the new players, but at least Bowyer has far more options now. He can almost pick two teams of equal ability.

Levitt, Bogle & Washington haven’t impressed me so far.

Famewo, Gunter, Shinnie, Inniss, Maatsen have been very good.

Too soon to say about Smyth, Watson, Gilbey & Maddison.

From what little I saw of Gilbey I think he’ll be good for us , Maddison with the right mindset could be exceptional for us. It’s all looking very rosy imo

Matthews can play right back, right side of a back three and right midfield so gives us increased options <ok>

Unfortunately with Gunter and Matthews he’d be chief orange cutter in our squad now,but good luck to him and hope he finds a team

He didn't want to stay, and he refused to play.
Now Solly must lay in the bed he has made.

Because of his long years of service to CAFC, his less central role in our 2019-20 campaign (and his presumed lack of stupid big-headed tweeting) I find myself less angry with Solly than Taylor.
But I'm no less saddened by the way it ended for him at Charlton.
An honest man should honour his contract. CS must know he did wrong.

He wouldn't get in the team, but I'm sure we would have found him a coaching position.
