Just need fans back asap now. Be a huge shame if an unfancied side won it and their supporters couldn't share the moment.
Think I'd be partly devastated if we won something with no fans there. Only major trophy of my lifetime but behind closed doors
Great win today. All played well. There is a bellend giving it large on the everton forum called hornett7. Supposedly a saints fan. Not anyone on here is it
If that happens I’ll get into Wembley if I have to climb over the roof. And once I’m in I’ll open one of the gates for any Saints fan who wants in. We’ll be in the grounds before the end of the season anyway, I reckon. Lockdown 2 won’t last forever.
He might not have meant it but the ref had just waved play on for a previous foul by Digne on KWP so Digne had another go. It was a diliberate foul but I think he meant to clip his heel but he trod on it instead. For me a nailed on red. Dangerous and reckless play.
Yeah, it was awful and could have broken his leg. Can't argue with it at all. They started getting very dirty because they couldn't handle us.
I think a rupture to his Achilles would have been more likely from that challenge and that would have been worse than a break.
Everton's modus operandi usually, just that they realised they can also play a bit of football now but regressed in the latter stages.
I honestly think we are playing better without fans. St Marys hasn't exactly been a positive place for a number of seasons and without fans we appear to be treating every game as an away game. The pessimist in me sees us going a goal down in the first game back and the negative tones wash round the stadium instead of trying to pick the team up. The optimist in me sees us getting top 6 the longer this goes on and us all getting to watch europa league at st marys next season.
