What I dont like is, all the refs should have come out and said "we want it to correct our bad decisions on matters that var look at" It would free up the refs to make decisions with less pressure knowing that if they **** it up, they have a back up. And its not like var is used for every niggle and tackle. smells very corporate, because the way the refs association is behaving is very corporate like, toes must not be stepped on

Nothing they do shocks me. The penalty was created from a ******ed set of rules, not anything that happened in the game If the rules said var must check the foul and the line, and we didn;t have clear and obvious error bollocks, which just carries forward the interpretation issue before VAR existed, its not a penalty. Its not whether I am ifs and buts here, Im just saying the referee gave a free (we can argue over the merit of that later) but the rule BS turned it into a peno, not a flawed VAR ref, the rules, because VAR doesn't check if its even a foul, which is BUREAUCRATIC BOLLOCKS, sorry for raising my voice
Surely the driver behind these weird rules is 1 the corporate nature of the refs association and 2 Pissy eyed man babies who don't want to be corrected on the fly. I can't see any other reason why these weird convoluted BS rules keep being made
They're the equivalent of Windows updates - they keep tweaking things and passing them off onto the public without bothering to check if they actually work first.

It irked me massively then I then saw the maguire challenge in the Utd game How - just how ???? that’s not VaRs fault that is just incompetence of the highest order I know someone will understand why it wasn’t given as a pen but buggered if I know the reason !
Just watching the grand final in Oz They have just had something quite controversial happen in opening seconds The way they use the video ref is so much better than football You hear the reasoning and they explain decision even when you don’t agree Much better imho
they never seem very interested in those fouls for some reason despite it being one of the few things VAR is good for imo .
