RE; the penalty...

Fabinho gets the ball so shouldn't have been a foul. However, the ref gave it and VAR doesn't review individual fouls outside the box.

They checked whether it was inside or not. The Sheff Utd players foot was on the line so rightly adjusted from a freekick to a penalty.

My question then though... if upgraded to a penalty, why isn't the "foul" then checked?

 

It takes the nerves out of it as I can see any goals on the forum, then can settle myself down to enjoy them.

sheff utd are absolutely awful really but still have no issue passing out and are winning everything in the air.

I dont get how the front 4 are supposed to be lining up at all. it looks like a last minute call thats not been worked on. certainly nobody gave salah the memo.

abortion of a pen call. a disgrace but then to compound it they don't give a pen for robertson. so you cant even accuse them of being bent.

we got a pen off a similar handball v Leeds and so couldn't complain if that was given but its fabinhos own fault for a god awful clearance.

both man and ball clearly.outsode the box and ref doesn't give it. ref doesn't look at a screen either so they have reverted to the very worst of the var here.

Jota as popped up between the CBs like Hendo, Wijnaldum, Milner and Fabinho (when playing midfield) does. Mane, Bobby and Salah have started further forward. They do seem to be interchanging a lot.
