    It’s 2 now! Cobblers OG

Doughty put on the afterburners, then squared a very dangerous cross

Not a great game, but at least we won.

    Let's hope Doughty's injury isn't too bad.

    Amos MoM for me.

Much better second half in difficult conditions. For me Pratley made the difference. Our defence were outstanding. I lost count of the amount of times Innis headed the ball. Bogle had a better second half. Not pretty but we are looking hard to beat. Doughty' injury looked serious unfortunately.

    Much better second half.

Well done to Lee Bowyer for spotting the flaws & making the changes.

Doughty & Inniss both very good. Levitt & Bogle less so.

    Northampton were diabolical.

All we need is a solid defence & consistency in this league & we will be promoted. There is nothing to worry about in terms of the opposition.

Solid win 0-2 (got my first prediction right this season)

4th clean sheet in a row, 5 from 7 in the league this season.
A game of two halves to be sure, but we got it right in the end. Well done LB and Pratters... <ok> <ok>

Our back 5 is very good, and with Pratley in front of them we won't give away many goals this season. We're threadbare up front, but with our defence we should get away with that. Good to see Williams improving second half, not diving around looking for free-kicks. Are we all resigned to the fact that we won't see too many scintillating games this season? Looking forward to seeing what Madison offers on Tuesday.

Sounds like Alfie Doughty has a hamstring injury.

Bad news (especially with our Medical Dept).
