    Kenny and Holgate are also injured I believe, which is all three of their RBs. So unless they play a kid, I think it's a fair bet that Godfrey will fill in again. And as good as he is at CB, he's just that - a CB.

    I'm starting to get quite hopeful now, to be honest.

    We've had some good results against the Blue Scousers at SMS in recent seasons and even Pellegrino's team battered them 4-1!...I'm going for a 2-1 win with one apiece for Danny and Che.

    This just brings home that we can't go to the match

    Really miss St Mary's and this is just the game I would love to have gone to.

    Decent opposition with quality players, saints with their tails up, underdogs but a chance of a result.

    Oh er and a dodgy goalkeeper to give some stick to.

    Will enjoy watching on the box but not the same.
    Roll on the good times when we can go marching in together.<hug>

    They've got some decent players and I'm sure their 5th choice RB will play a blinder, but maybe we should set Theo on him later on

    All that. For me, I had got into a long established habit of going to Everton games with a father and son pairing of lifetime Evertonians. We can’t even watch it on TV together. I shall expect to be taking the piss after the game, so be warned, Ralph. The next few weeks of lockdown sanity are riding on this one. 2-1 Saints.

    This, more than the Leicester game which I didn’t attend, is the fixture which, last season, convinced me we were going down. Everton were atrocious and we somehow still contrived to get beat. Find a way to win on Sunday, and I’ll probably be convinced we’re on our way to Europe.

    Their manager won’t make the same mistake as he did in the first half of last seasons game, expect him to overload us in midfield and with his long list of injuries I am not expecting a fast flowing open game. We might need to knock the occasional long ball into the channels to bypass a packed midfield
