Why would the PL see less TV money? You spent a lot of time previously saying that the PL is strong from top to bottom and that's why we generate so much money, and that it's not driven by a select few teams.
class act. huge respect for the guy. I'd say he read richarilson the riot act after as he was quick smart on social media with his faux apology to the everton fans and a little bit to thiago added on
He offered a fake apology for Van Dijk being out for the season then whinged that Rodriguez will miss a game because of a late tackle by Van Dijk which only affected him 90 minutes later. Ancelotti is a **** and a fraud #official
I suspect it was more likely lip service. He does present himself well I guess but If you think he was fully sincere in that apology you're delusional. One of our key players and our best defender out long term, and they got away with it scot free on the day. You're not telling me they aren't pleased about that behind closed doors, whether it was intentional to hurt VVD or not it's all a huge plus for them and the idea that he's laying into his players for being too naughty is similarly off the mark if you ask me
Not a plus for them because we're not going to be within at least 3-4 places of each other by the end of the season
No, perhaps not, but regardless it's still a huge setback for us now and probably for the majority of the season, so it's still a result for them if it does end up having a knock on effect on our whole season
It's hard to take alright. City had this last year and they couldn't live with us. Now lets see if we can live with City with an injury pile ourselves. At the very least we'll know more about how strong our squad is this year.
Its urban myth that Citeh had loads of injuries last season...........Laporte was out, and an out of favour Sane. With a squad of that depth they were simply piss poor.
tbf Aguero was also out for a some periods last season. But its utterly ridiculous for a club like City to only have Jesus as a striker backup, and frankly he's overrated. Rest of them are wide forwards who aren't consistent scorers. Although they'll have to get used to that next season when Aguero leaves, his contract is up next summer and he's already said he wants to head back home or to A Madrid before finishing. Don't see him renewing.
Man City have spent over £200m on defenders under Guardiola, Laporte being out is no excuse for them. We can't afford the squad they can, it's different.
