There is no evidence of that that i can see Col. Manning had a contractual dispute/impasse with the club. The player is under no obligation to sign a new contract if he feels the terms are not right Warburton could have played him and sold him for much more than the 250k we got or he could have sold him for more in January. By dropping him from the squad, it cost us thousands in a better transfer fee. Piss poor managment from Warburton to do what he did in terms of dropping Manning out of the squad and to also release a statement giving the impression to some of the fans that Manning didn't want to play for the club. I blame the Manager, not the player. Anyway, he's gone now and Warburton is paying the price for what he did. We all move on.
Read somewhere, on here maybe, he was pissed off at being on less dough than Wallace. We should probably just furlough Wallace.
Are you sure the missing cardboard cutouts aren't on the pitch? I've seen livelier performances in a morgue...
****ing commentator is pissing me off too. He's obviously seeing replays, talking about them, without realising that we're not seeing them!
I was thinking that. Maybe they might sing ”warburton out”. Seriously why do I waste my time watching us lose at home midweek to an average team we should be beating? Really not good enough.
Preston have been 5hit and we have made this a very comfortable walk in the park for them. They have been completely in control. This performance is relegation level. Embarrassing.
Early feeling is that at least there are three teams weaker than us. Deja vu. With the transfer work that was done by the club we should have been building on the Bournemouth performance; but as Sooper said we seem to do one step forwards, two steps back. Buying all these forwards without any ability, or nouse, to feed them chances is a waste of time.
