The most impressive thing about this season for me, is that for the first time in this division we look better than our opponents and are winning these games comfortably with a little something in hand. I'm concerned about our lack of quality, upfront. A decent striker would have had 4 or 5 decent chances last night if he had a little bit of pace and the ability to turn and get shots away. However, It's hard to pretend to be too concerned when we don't look like conceding at the other end.
I agree with you, but there’s a reason Wyke, Maguire, Grigg etc etc are plying their trade in this ****ty league.
I hate them. Went down there twice and their behaviour was disgraceful ... ... it's a sport yet they have no sportsmanship.
I like the fact that we have a style of play and a game plan whether I like it or not. Under MON, Moyes, Bruce, etc I never had any idea what was going on ... ... I don't think the players did either tbh.
"Sunderland are 'the best team we have faced this season by a distance', according to Crewe boss David Artell." He ranked Sunderland above current League One leaders Hull City, Charlton Athletic, and high-flying Lincoln City, all of whom Crewe have played either in the league or the cup this season.

It wasn't really about sharpness mate. Their Centre half's won everything that was played up to him. Need someone who can mix it with them, but also move them around a bit. They looked too comfortable in dealing with Wyke.
Wyke won more balls into our box than their's, in fact I don't think he got on the end of any cross or corner all night , he is so flat footed and rarely gets in front of a defender in the box. We just have to put up with it until Parky goes, even the commentators on both radio and on SAFC were suggesting Wyke to be the first to go ten minutes before PP sent on AOB for Maguire, and Charley Farley was still there at the end with the two bench warmers Grigg and Graham confined to watching an inferior player enjoy the full confidence of a manager who's substitutions are the worst I have ever known, we were a shambles those last ten minutes but thankfully we survived. .
As soon as Gooch received the ball it was obvious where it was going and it was a long cross ... ... Wyke had ample time to anticipate the cross and time his run. Instead he stood and waited. My Sunday League manager would've gone ballistic.
And again. Norwich City 2 Wycombe 1 Played 7 won 0 drew 0 points 0 F**k off Ainsworth, you useless tosser who'll never manage higher than you currently are.
