I wonder if Gollum will be hanging Martial out to dry after his latest dive. Manchester does need every PENny it can get though.
Bale was always accused of diving when he was last with Spurs and obviously he just got in the way of the West Ham player who was simply wanting to run across his box leading with his right. I am surprised that refs don't win man of the match awards because they often have more effect on the result than the players.
Liverpool have been remarkably lucky with injuries in recent seasons and now they've got a few key ones. We've all had to put up with it, but suddenly it's a big deal, for some reason.
As opposed to the other way their luck is running out, namely how the offside rule now applies to them
I would say they haven't had injuries to multiple players at one time but as funny as it is laughing at the pool and their self entitlement and moaning i think they did have a fair few injuries for a significant amount of time last year. off the top of my head: Alisson was out for a bulk of the beginning (a couple of months?) Mane was out for a few weeks. Henderson was out for a few Fabinho had a long term one then they have their bit part players who are always out like oxlade chamberlain and matip but as it's normally the 1 they normally have enough cover and quality to have got them through it. VVD and Alisson are the big ones though. They were only a top 4 side before those 2 rocked up to solidify them
They had a few minor ones in areas where they had plenty of cover, plus they've got a couple of crocks who people forgot, basically. Lallana and Oxlade-Chamberlain being out is like Wilshere and Andy Carroll missing games. You know it's going to happen. They managed to avoid any fullback injuries, despite only having two and running them into the ground. Mane, Salah and Firmino played in the vast majority of their games and Van Dijk was never out through injury. They ****ed up and sold a centre-half without replacing him, while bringing in unsuitable goalkeeper cover. Adrian's not good enough for their bench and their third choice is basically a kid. They took risks and it's going wrong, at the moment.
"Bayern Munich fans horrified after English ref Michael Oliver chosen to officiate Atletico game" We know how you feel, you bunch of glory hunting ****ers.
If Atletico turn up in all red kit, Munich will have to score 12 just for Oliverpool to award them a draw at FT.
Shakhtar Donestk have lost 10 first team players to positive coronavirus tests and they're away to Real Madrid. It's half-time and it's 3-0, rather unsurprisingly. To Shakhtar...
Obviously it was bringing on Heorhiy Sudakov in the 86th minute that saw Los Ladrones get back into it...
I must have missed this news. It appears Liverpool recently changed their club name. All I hear now is that they seem to be called "Injury Hit Liverpool". Is this now their official name? I think we should be told.
It is indeed strange, Mr Sucky. Do you think your predicament is a bit like Citeh last season when they lost Laporte, and I think paid dearly for not having a decent backup?
Very well could be mate. Really depends on how well we do with Fabinho filling in and if we can keep Matip and Gomez fit enough until at least January when we may be forced into the market. We also have the yound Rhys Williams as another choice who had a cameo last night and done well. Its a massive loss. No painting over it.
We’ve got you, bro. Take your pic from any of our three senior lads at CB. Can throw in an England international CM if you like too seeing as Henderson’s had a couple knocks and Ox is the new Wilshire. If you take all four I’ll do you a good price. Happy to help
