He really did. I dare say if he went down and if VAR was in League 1, we'd get a pen from that. He was getting pulled back by one of their defenders. Also, great strength by Wilks to win that free-kick.
Good play by Wilks again to win the free-kick. Sort of **** you need in this league when you're only 1 up.
Poor performance, good result. I do worry about our second half performances. We look so much weaker than we do in the first half way too often. Not a scooby how Wimbledon didn't score, but you get away with those. The fact we've only conceded in one game is a bloody miracle.
Great 3 points there, shows the difference in class between l1 and champ, we'd have conceded 2 or 3 tonight up against a decent champ team, but gotta beat what's in front of you and we've done that for a 6th game in 7. Good stuff
get in 3 more points, yet again a battle and a struggle at times but we`ve won ugly, think there are going to be much more of these games, but for me yet again Honeyman takes the plaudits. never stopped running and showed a couple of bits of quality. Top of the league !
Not impressed. That was AFC Wimbledon, at home. Yeah, alright, we won, but so we should, they're relegation fodder. Just swapping the front three isn't going to help a tiring midfield, if that was Ipswich, Charlton or Portsmouth, we'd be in trouble. The defence did really well to hold out, but we shouldn't be nervous with five minutes to go against a team like Wimbledon. We need to be more clinical, hopefully against Peterborough we will see that because they score a lot of goals.
