Reports coming out that Liverpool and Man U are in talks to form a European Premier League with backing from JP Morgan to the value of 4.6 billion £ It’s time these two clubs along with their owners were kicked out of English Football
Heres a thought for you has phillips got out of his comfort zone and is not that good above champ level. Or are the team and bielsa letting him down. Are the tactics wrong at this level against better players and coaches. So far kalvin has looked like leedslover in goal. Secondly i am still wanting a goal scoring forward because neither barn door or rodrigo can head a ball. We need to score more often and look the same as last season.
Reported by the daily mail that he will on my perform 4th official duties this weekend after admitting that he forgot that he could actually review the pickford incident even though the foul occurred in an offside situation.
Struijk and Llorente can do Phillips role as DM but as Cooper could still be out Struijk needed for that and Llorente still out injured. Cresswell or Casey will have to replace Cooper and Struijk to DM?
I think he’s been found out at this level. His lack of pace lets him down, as does his tendency to lose concentration at times. He really can’t afford to do that in the position he plays. Yes he’s now played for England, but just because that inept twat Southgate thinks he’s international standard doesn’t make it true.
So we get a new centre back and he is injured. Greenwood injured too and phillips. Struijk apparently was taken off some sort of leg problem. Cooper out when we need him. Is this just bad luck or the result of pushing too hard in training. Tiredness causes many things physical and mentally.
I'm living in a false world, I thought we had 7 points and are doing great in my world, but apparently we are bottom lost every game and are waiting to score our first goal, and the slow down from our training, means players get injured, when they don't train as hard. didn't see that coming.
Always thought Phillips lack of pace would be his Achilles heel at the highest level. I’m not writing him off just yet... the pace of the game and the players is up a notch, let’s see how he settles over the course of a season. Thought he was good first half, poor second. So was everyone. Whole team looked leggy after the break. Everyone raving over Koch - I thought he was exceptional first half and average in the second - including a couple of poor defensive headers - one of which resulted in the disallowed goal. I like him, but seems like my fellow Leeds fans all love Koch.
Yep. Said for ages that Phillips will be limited by his lack of pace. He's still a decent PL midfield player but won't interest the top 6 clubs.
