I actually blame Donald for almost everything now, for example, if I've had a row with the wife it's Donald's fault. Quite simply, my mental health state would be better, as I link all the bad things in life to Donald, such is my love of the club.

I honestly couldn't think of better owners. I dream about these taking us over.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sunderland have been mentioned as a possible target for Red Bull should the business decide to expand their sport brand into England.

Ralf Rangnick, Red Bull’s Head of Sports and Soccer Development, has given an interview in German publication Bild discussing the possibility of branching out into England and adding team from this country to their portfolio that includes the RB Leipzig, Red Bull Salzburg and NY Red Bulls.

While discussing that possibility, Rangnick said that if they were to takeover an English side, it would have to be a team in League One and then gave Sunderland and the MK Dons as examples of the type of club that they would look at:

If we wanted to expand, only one club in England would make sense.

A third-tier league team like maybe Sunderland or Milton Keynes.

But problems would arise if the club pushed into international business. Then we would have the same situation as with Leipzig and Salzburg, that would not be done because of the UEFA regulations.

And to buy a club in China, I can’t imagine. That may be good economically. But athletically it’s certainly not. I do not think it is capitalist.

With Stewart Donald looking to bring extra investment in the club and the Mark Campbell takeover looking uncertain, how would you feel if Red Bull bought the club and made it part of their portfolio?

Would RB Sunderland appeal if it meant success or would you see it as the club selling it’s soul? Let us know in the comments.

Pity this was over a year ago, would have been unbelievable but we all know Donald would have got greedy and buggered it up.

It's what happens when there's a glitch in the matrix. Expect a visit from agent Smith from the IT department.

Just throwing this out there. Reports from people on here have suggested new people coming in who have plenty of funds. If it's not FPP, and I hope to God it is, could the Spanish Consortium be reigniting their interest and looking to link up with Sartori if Donald is no longer involved?
