I see the red button is back.

Now then, will it be the red button or 10 quid for tomorrow?

Or free to season ticket holders who took the option.

Also have the option of on Skygo as my brother in law gave me the codes etc. Legitimate as well. Enjoyed our game on Sunday and the first half of Spurs v Spammers - but not the second half, especially the last 10 minutes. <doh>:emoticon-0183-swear<yikes><wah>

I always use Sky Go when I'm away Bluey, but you won't get City on that tomorrow - it's not a featured game, only red button.

The only problem with the red button coverage is it's single remotely operated camera, no other camera angles and no replays.

The question is - is the enhanced multi-camera coverage with the replays etc worth 10 quid when the red button is free to Sky subscribers?

Red button for me, no replays is a bit of a bummer (don't tell Masky) but if you go with City that's paying twice.

Agree it seems that way Dai, but I chose pay my Sky subscriptions anyway. Put it this way, if we had a home game featured live on the box, I'd still go to the CCS and pay for the privilige - that's if we were living in normal times and we were allowed. The usual bonus for me with Sky is our televised away games.

The best footballing experience we can get at the moment is maximum coverage on the box and that's what you get for a tenner. If you weigh it up, I wouldn't regard the cost of my season ticket per game and the associated costs of travel and time as an issue in normal times.

Yes you can get the limited red button coverage for free if you're a Sky Sports subscriber and I've done that a lot in the past when it was the only option, but what the hell. <ok>

Dai - I'll just use some of my winnings from the Preston game..............<laugh>:emoticon-0105-wink:

I admit to binning my sky sports subscription. Found I was watching sport for the sake of it. Other hobbies take up a load of time anyway.
Might switch it back on for 6 weeks when the lions are on tour though.<cheers>

Remote - as you haven't got Sky Sports now, spend a tenner for a match pass tomorrow. Stream it to your laptop (or tablet) and connect to your big flat screen TV for the full works.

I can stream it off my Galaxy Andoid tablet wirelessly by "mirroring" to my TV - a tap on the screen and it's done - simples - but I'd rather a hard cable connection.

As I still prefer to run Windows 7 pro on my laptops, I don't have Miracast (Windows 8.1 & 10) for a wireless connection but hard connect laptop to the TV with an HDMI cable. Better resolution and stability over wireless connections and no potential lag.

No inconvenience either - just plug in, select the correct HDMI port on the TV controller and you've got it big time. Leave the laptop to one side and use the TV volume controls etc. Sit back and enjoy (or cringe if we play rubbish....<laugh>)

The only downside of streaming rather than the Sky red button is you can't record it, nor pause and playback - you have to take it as it comes in real time.

Lost me in the second paragraph. Neanderthal and IT averse (unless very simple) that's me.

My Panasonic Plasma is 8 years old and hasn't got the capability. I need the input from the laptop which is no problem.

I have sky sports so would prefer to watch it on the red button rather than City TV so I won’t have to listen to those 2 clowns commentating.

Besides as a ST holder if you don’t use the City TV option for a home match, will it enhance the credit when next seasons renewal comes around?

It became a radio about 70 years ago - and that was before it became a transistor in the 60's...<laugh>

Steam radio even. Or one of those sets they taught you how to make in school in the 60/70's. I'm still working on mine. <whistle>

    Don't hold your breath Nin.

CityTV match price £10. City have said, I believe, for next season they will refund anything paid for ST's over £10 per game this season. After the £50 allowance my ST cost is £7.33 per game. Does that mean I have to pay City £2.67 per game to make up the difference? <doh>
