Got to be relegation candidates surely?

I know they've had a tough start to the season but they've been raped by everyone.

Its awful isn't it. They were 7th or 8th in March last season and have won one game since. What the **** happened?

Owen Coyle will get the sack if he doesn't turn it around soon.

They'll be fine. A bit like Everton in the last couple of seasons, start off really slowly, in amongst the bottom 3 and eventually their quality shows. If they don't then I'm going to look like an idiot but I'm pretty sure they'll be more than fine.

Well last year they were in the chase for Europe from August til about March. I noticed their form drastically changes when Stuart Holden isn't or is playing. He was injured for a good chunk of last year and still won Boltons player of the year. He was almost back to full fitness a week ago and suffered another set back and is out for another six months. Pretty sure Johnny Evans is Public Enemy number 1 over there.

Defence is terrible, Zat Knight in particular. But Coyle won't change his principles, a bit like Mowbray at West Brom.

What principles? They still hoof it as much as they did under Megson.

I think Holden is proving to be a massive loss for them. He was far and away their best player last season, and it was only after his injury that they went into freefall. And with him being out for another six months, the future looks grim for Bolton...

If you were a betting man, you really had to be on any unquoted in that Chelsea game. Chelsea wins at the Reebok are as commonplace as a Martin Atkinson decision in favour of Liverpool.

And it all looked so rosey, after they tonked QPR 4-0 away from home. I've watched them a few times since, and they've been awful, yesterday was there worst performance, the goalkeeper wouldn't get in a conference side, nevermind a Prem team. me and a few mates were down the pub watching, and we were all pissing ourselves at the calamity defending, they were all over the place, and if you give the Chelsea's of this world that much space to play, they will rip you apart.

I have a feeling they could go down, people are saying there class will shine through eventually, but I ask what class? The only class I see is Gary Cahill, and one decent centre half isn't going to keep them up. Elmander is useful, and when he comes back, they will be stronger, but I'd still fear the worst for them.

Owen Coyles tactics are terrible, playing 433 with Kevin Davies on the right. Kevin Davies is a hard hitting typical English centre forward, he doesn't have anywhere near the pace, skill or creativity required to play out on the flank. He is completely out of his depth out wide, and is made to look like a cart horse by opposition full backs. Ngog never showed much ability at Liverpool, so I never undestood signing him, and so far he has shown no signs of quality at Bolton. They need to go back to 442, and start playing how used to play. They don't have good enough players to play 433, and the sooner Owen Coyle realises that, the better chance they will have of escaping regation
