I've voted Bruce. I reckon he'll be gone by Christmas when we find ourselves languishing in bottom four of the league. This is not so much a wish btw but a fervent fecking prayer!

I voted for Ole, for no other reason than wishful thinking as it would mean Manure are doing badly.

By the way, you might want to edit the title of this thread, otherwise poor old Jim will get confused and strip off and hold a mirror between his knees.

I've read that they've sent feelers out. It's win/win for them as there's no crowds to boo and give a hard time to whoever takes over from their fan favourite.

I voted for Ole, but I really don't know. I think that win against us saved his bacon for a few weeks. Parker is on a sticky wicket, but who would want to take over from him, at best they're only going to get someone like Pulis. Lampard has been very mediocre since he became Chelsea manager and has one of the worst conceded stats in the league. Apparently they're already looking at someone to replace Hodgson at the end of the season, but I think if he carries on grinding out results, it will be like Wenger and they will keep adding a year to his contract. Dyche has built up a lot of goodwill points whilst he's been there, so they may end up doing a Bournemouth and wait for him to leave rather than sacking him, but then again they're in the middle of a takeover so who knows.

We have a very rough fixture list at Xmas, so if he doesn't get to 20 points ish before then we're in serious trouble

I agree, but I think they've said this is his last season at the club, they gave him the year extension imo because some of the signings or the managerial choice they had lined up didn't come off as they expected.

He'll be here the full season and then, I'm gonna presume retire.

A recipe for disaster if that's what they said.

Depends on the group of lads.

Not every squad in the league is a Newcastle squad.

Yeah done a good job but they'd need a lot of investment to try to move to the next stage. I don't think they have it so I think we will see at least the end of this season and possibly even next (retirements get delayed). They had to start to think about because Woy is 109 now.

The takeover might go through in December, but otherwise Bruce is here all season.

If we are looking weak in December theyll sack him.

He's on a very weak contract is Brucie. They won't repeat their McClaren mistake.

The run of fixtures they've got Xmas time I lethal, so if he doesn't lick up a few points between now and then the club will be in trouble
