I am sorry but that is just not good enough - Throwing away a 3 goal in the last 10 minutes is ridiculous yes we can make excuses and it wasn't a free kick, but we took our foot off of the gas and allowed them to grow into the game.

And DH is spot on Winks for Ndombele gave the midfield away and why we took Son off when we was constantly worrying them is another question mark over Joses changes today

Its such a shame because 9 players today were excellent, Sanchez was poor from minute 1 the own goal summed up his match and Winks even worse with the squad we have now he should be looking for a new club in January.

Said it already but our defence (and that useless sack of crab ****) will be the death of us.

Reguilon and Davies are the only two defenders I feel I can rely on. Maybe Doherty in time but need to see more. Get Davies at CB and have him alongside Rodon if Tanganga’s still injured/ struggling with fitness. It can literally be no worse than the three donkeys and at least there’s a possibility Rodon (and Tanganga) will grow into a top player due to his age, doesn’t even need to be a top player, just a semi decent one because that’s still better than the dross we’re currently using. Toby is done, Dier is dire nowadays and Sanchez is still as shaky as when he first joined, not kicked on at all.

Loan crab **** out to league two or something, he might look semi decent there.

I genuinely thought Sanchez had the makings of a top class CB when you first got him. Strong, athletic, quick, good distribution and made good recovery tackles. I still think he has the skillset to be a great CB. However, he is very mistake prone, doesn't position himself well and has too many lapses in concentration. He's 24, so he does have time on his side. But it's concerning that this is now his 4th season with Spurs as part of the first-team squad and he doesn't look like he's improved within that timeframe.

There's a good centre-half in there. Whether he'll still get that opportunity to prove it, or whether he needs a move to fulfil his potential, remains to be seen.

It’s getting beyond the point of persisting with him in my opinion. I thought he’d begin showing his potential and every now and then he has glimpses but four years in and he hasn’t kicked on. All three senior CBs are dog awful and they'll cost us more of these results throughout the season, as will crab ****.

Kane and Son don’t deserve to be lumbered with such dross.

    Under Pochettino
18 times we conceded 2 or more goals
    15 clean sheets
    48 matches played

    Under Jose
    43 matches played
    7 clean sheets
16 times we conceded 2 or more goals

Been the same issue for the past 2 years, under 2 managers.

    91 played
    22 clean sheets
34 time we have conceded 2 or more goals

If we’d had played Stevie Wonder over any of the three donkeys during these periods we’d have probably done better.

    BALE!
A player with his ability should not be missing that chance.
How about blaming him instead of Sanchez or Mou?

I am fuming right now, same old Spurs, weak, brainless and arrogant enough to ease off at 3-0, instead of really killing the game off. Sissoko was awful today, he failed to defend the header on the first goal and failed to clear the ball giving away possession on the second goal. A 3 goal lead is never enough with brainless dross like Sanchez, Aurier and Sissoko on the pitch.

Every time we have a bad result it is the same culprits who make the errors, Sanchez, Aurier, Sissoko and Dier. We continue to give away stupid free kicks and fail to manage the game. 4 points thrown away in the last minute of games already this season, we could have been sitting in 2nd place, 1 point off the top, if we knew how to kill games off. Many of us said before the window closed we are not good enough at the back, and we are being proved right.

I don't think changing the midfield was the problem we were slack right from the beginning of the second half. They clearly thought they had done enough and the win was inevitable. The whole team lacked urgency and probably thought they would soon score some more. It had been too easy in the first half and West Ham were appalling. In thre end it was reminiscent of Muhammed Ali's famous 'Rope a Dope' victory over George Foreman. Spurs punched themselves out. BIG LESSON hopefully we will learn from it.

One issue from today: two FBs on the bench but no CB

Obviously there's reasons why, namely Dier and Fagan-Walcott being injured while Tanganga isn't 100%, but being in a position where Sanchez is having a mare and our options are either bringing on Davies or gritting our teeth and hoping it doesn't prove costly that is the sort of team selection that you can get away with nine times out of ten - but it's the tenth game where it costs you

Yeah but not at CB, lol.

We’re a far cry from that Toby-Jan partnership we had from 2015-2018.

What annoys me is not only are we persisting with the same dross at CB for years now but we’ve even given two of them new contracts (Toby and Dier). It’s like we’re holding a gun to our heads and constantly filling it with ammo, then pulling the trigger 9 matches out of 10. They undo all the work Harry and Sonny do. Then crab **** just exacerbates it all, 4 years of dog awfulness and he still gets on the pitch. He’s 100% got naked photos of Poch, Jose and Levy, only logical reason.

We rarely play well in both halves.
It has been an issue for almost two years.
No idea why but both Pochettino and Jose have struggled to sort it out.

Not sure why people are blaming Sanchez when the West Ham player was totally free on the left and put a ball in which he had to go for. Reguilon and Lucas not covering properly was the issue. Bale gave the ball way before the Aurier 'foul'. All the goals were from lack of discipline by the full backs and wide forwards.

Sanchez was poor throughout ... gave the ball away twice in the opening seconds and the own hoal was s farce.
He regularly makes mistakes by giving the ball away inviting pressure onto us.
In all honesty he was poor today.

So which of the seven players wouldn't you have signed to get two better centre backs?
Your comments on Winks are getting more and more ludicrous. He is a Spurs player and needs our support not insults.

Sanchez`s first touch of the game he gave away possession in a dangerous area, which sums him up. He has not improved since he joined and needs upgrading. There were a comedy of errors all over the pitch which cost us goals, they keep giving away stupid free kicks and fail to find row z, which is basic game management.

Your last point is correct, but if the full backs and wingers keep allowing crosses that makes it more likely for the CBs to mess up. We don't defend well as a team.
