When David made his first few appearances I thought we'd just landed one of the games great matchwinners!
I'm beginning to think now he might be just the opposite! Whenever the opposition are moving in on our goal, my hearts in my mouth, when he's in or just outside our penalty area and just about to take on the attacker! I visualise Petr having to face up to a fair few penalties this season unless David wises up!
Am I alone with this opinion?

I sort of agree, he is a bit too full on in the penalty box sometimes but here learn, he hasn't even been at the club a year yet his getting better defending every game, give him some time. Luiz will be one of the worlds best centre backs, his the sort of player that when were 1-0 down here start going forward and forward and getting us all going to go back and get it back to 1-1, his a great signing and his defending will improve, his young and new to english football so give him some time. his already a hero in my eyes for scoring vital goals vs manure and man ****ty

He can be a bit too enthusiastic trying to win the ball all the time but in all honesty the guy has got the lot, Tall, quick, 2 amazing feet he really is a fantastic player. Thought both Terry and Luiz were first class today as well

I've got no doubts about David's qualities! He's the perfect partner for JT. Its just that, he's tends to rough the opposition up a bit too much in the wrong places! I fancy he's going get his marching orders at least once this season and concede a few pens and difficult to defend free kicks

As said the young guy's still learning. " my hearts in my mouth, when he's in or just outside our penalty" agree with that but when he picks the ball up just outside our box ands starts going forward wow, we haven't seen much of that recently.

Very reminiscent of Frank Leboeuf at his rampaging best. <ok>

He gave him a little barge, no way a penalty. One of their players has knocked down mikel in the penalty box about 3 times when we've had a corner, don't see us getting **** all. The refs just a prick

Awww bless you! Never mind eh. Can't all be scholars of the footballing world like me :). On the flip side, you guys are ripping QPR apart and it should not have been a penalty anyway!

You really think coloccini is better than luiz? If the answer to my question is yes, then you need to go check yourself into your nearest mental hospital

Luiz only looks half decent when compared to the donkey that is John Terry! I will grant you that Luiz will be an amazing defender (world 11 quality) in the future but currently, he is not as good as Colo!

No it's called the Duberry factor which is a shame as the rest of his game is immense.

If lampard hadn't had his foot in the way we'd all be talking about a wonderful overhead kick goal from luiz
