Aye Hume is a miss balance wise but Gooch has shown he is capable there which is another unlikely positive I think. Nice to have a Saturday night to enjoy.

Done what we had to do, more like a practice match.

Thought Gooch and O'Nein worked really well Swindon were disappointing but they were never troubled

Glad McLaughlin did ok. He's not a wing back so maybe on the right of a back 3 is his position. Solid win. These are the games we'd have lost or drawn previously.

I thought Swindon looked decent with the ball - a good footballing side, they have a few injuries at the moment.
They didn't create a lot but that was mainly down to how good we defended. We also played a high pressing game and put their defenders under pressure.
I think we played them at the right time.
2 goals and a clean sheet will do me.

Good - gives us plenty options and shows we have cover for Hume. Gooch and Hume can also play in same side, it’s not like it’s one or the other. A good day apart from Willis injury.

Great win and performances from every player, now bring Benji and the new player in on Tuesday and keep this run going. play 3 at the back as well against Crewe 5 in midfield. Got a bet on us to win both games !

Not moaning mate just don’t think we played excellent like some are saying. Could be as we didn’t need to break sweat as you say, but Swindon were terrible and should have been there to up the goal different. Quire literally said I am buzzing with the win.
Think the last couple of seasons has just massively deflated my optimism!

Decent stats tbf, we should be punishing teams more from corners tho, especially with willis, wright and flanno (when available)

Only one goal conceded and that was three minutes into the season from a ridiculous mistake
No goals conceded from open play so far

    Great platform to build on

So we are switching to a 1-3-2-1-2- 2 formation?

    Burge
    O9/Willis BW CM/TF
    Diamond Hume
    Grant
    Power/Dob Scowen/Neil
    OB/Maguire Wyke/Danny

    I like it.

Two up top should get more goals, 3 in the midfield all capable of goals as are the wingbacks
