Swansea City has completed the signing of Ryan Bennett from Wolverhampton Wanderers, subject to international clearance. The 30-year-old centre-half makes the move to SA1 on a three-year contract and will wear the number two shirt. He becomes Swansea's third deadline-day signing, following the arrivals of Kasey Palmer and Joel Latibeaudiere. The former England Under-21 international brings a wealth of experience with over 100 Championship appearances to his name, as well as Premier League stints with Norwich City, Wolves and Leicester.

I suspect that if someone had told us that Joe would be sold on the final day of the window but that we’d sign 4 players, we wouldn’t have believed it .... The other encouraging thing for me is that Winter, Gareth Davies and the Yanks must have ‘crunched the numbers’ beforehand - so they must be comfortable that financially we are good to go for the rest of this season....
Swansea City are unbeaten in their last five meetings with Huddersfield, last losing to the Terriers at the Liberty in a League One clash in November 2007. Andre Ayew is set to make his 100th appearance across his two spells with the Swans, having made his debut against Chelsea in August 2015.
officials & back-room staff; great work during the international break, incl. the window. Thank you. Players; Do us proud today and demonstrate you’re worthy of the shirt. We’ve now got the numbers to rotate and push on. #getintoum #stid #coyfjb #coys
Sorry, but not so happy as you guys, after being conned once again by Levy Spurs Chairman.. Two Spurs Fans, walking their dogs down on Loughor front were laughing, and said that Levy knows we are there for the taking. ........ Birch is now with Spurs ! ! ! ! ! ! And look at the guy that replaced him ! ! ! ! ! ! I'm not so trusting as a lot of people, been around too long. Still I think we will win today ........... Happy?
Swansea City show three changes from victory over Millwall as they take on Huddersfield Town at the Liberty Stadium. Fit-again goalkeeper Freddie Woodman comes back into the side as Steven Benda drops to the bench, while Kyle Naughton makes his first start of the season following Joe Rodon’s departure. Further forward, Viktor Gyokeres makes his full debut in attack in place of the injured Morgan Gibbs-White. That means Woodman starts in goal, with Naughton, Marc Guehi and Ben Cabango forming a three-man defence. Connor Roberts and Jake Bidwell retain their places at wing-back, either side of captain Matt Grimes and Korey Smith in midfield. Andre Ayew – on his 100th Swansea appearance – and Jamal Lowe will occupy the flanks, with Gyokeres playing through the middle. New signing Kasey Palmer is among the substitutes following his arrival on loan from Bristol City. Swansea City: Freddie Woodman; Kyle Naughton, Ben Cabango, Marc Guehi; Connor Roberts, Korey Smith, Matt Grimes (captain), Jake Bidwell; Andre Ayew, Viktor Gyokeres, Jamal Lowe. Substitutes: Steven Benda, Jay Fulton, Liam Cullen, Yan Dhanda, Kasey Palmer, Jordon Garrick, Cameron Evans. Huddersfield Town: Ben Hamer, Pipa, Harry Toffolo, Jonathan Hogg, Juninho Bacuna, Richard Stearman, Carel Eiting, Isaac Mbenza, Josh Koroma, Naby Sarr, Christopher Schindler (captain). Substitutes: Joel Pereira, Lewis O'Brien, Adama Diakhaby, Alex Pritchard, Fraizer Campbell, Demeaco Duhaney, Romoney Crichlow-Noble.
This is a bit of a blow Huge blow for Swansea as Wolves loanee Morgan Gibbs-White is expected to be out for around three months after fracturing his foot in the win over Millwall before the international break
And three of the new players aren’t in the squad....not signed in time perhaps as the welsh fa close early
Nice to see Merson doing the Swans game today, instead of Pulis. Why did Sky change the presenter line up, they gone from the A team to the P team.
