My concern over this and 'just investment' is we needed this investment before the window closed if only £1m or so as that would have brought in 2 or good players for this level. When do we get the investment now? January? Could be ****ed by then with the injuries we have. My second concern is the manager, if it's basically the same people they're hardly going to change him are they?
It feels like a bit late in the day but if they or whoever is in the box seat starts making sensible appointments into key positions and there appears to be a long term plan then I'm happy.

My concern is whether this is investment that will lead to signing a decent calibre of player in the next window and will fund a full overhaul of the backroom from CEO downwards (replacing them with people who aren't ****), or whether it is the kind of investment that allows Donald to keep the lights on for the rest of the season and we're going to keep plodding on like this. The investors having cash reserves is all well and good but what really matters is how much they're prepared to invest and what their plans are.
