Girls screamed for me once. I was on a night 'out out' with friends in Cottingham and was sat on a tall stool at the bar with a mate a bit pissed.

Said mate suddenly had something important to tell me and gave me a nudge.

Down I went backwards, not knowing where my head would hit.

Got up extremely embarrassed and said to my mate "anyway, what was it you were going to say"?

He replied, "That girl you were chatting up, she's ****ing gorgeous".

And then of course, she'd gone.

    Bro's before :emoticon-0181-fubar whores...

He actually died 20/09/2020 after a fall at his home, he was PE teacher at Greatfield Newton Hall in early sixties also played Rugby Union for Hull and East Riding and sometimes coached us when I played for their colts team. Remember him being told to be quiet by our history teacher when we were taking one of our GCE exams, rather a loud person.

RIP Alan (or Sir as it used to be)

I knew Alan well in the early 60s before I emigrated and he was playing on the Hull and East Riding team with my friends the Moores (Dudley, Geoff) and the Sangwins (Roger and Ian). A larger than life character in every way. So sad to hear he has passed on. RIP Alan...thanks for the memories old friend.

I was at Newton Hall when he was appointed to the PE team. He was extremely fit and had some interesting views on how the schools rugby teams he coached should play which would probably be frowned on these days. Very sad to hear he has passed away. A real character, much respected by all he taught.

Started at Bier Keller in 1972. Went for years til it finished. Will always be my favourite club ever. I loved it.

I worked with Waggy in the early eighties, and can confirm that he was the most miserable of bastards.

    RIP

    • French teacher beheaded by suspected Islamist terrorist for showing Prophet Mohammed has been named
    • Samuel Paty, 47, had received threats before he was stabbed and beheaded by Chechen gunman Aboulakh A
    • Muslim parents took offence at Mr Paty's decision to show his class cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed
    • 47-year-old had invited Muslim students to leave room before he showed caricatures 'in respect'
    • One Muslim girl had stayed behind by mistake and later told her parents that she was shown cartoon
    • Parent made complaint about history teacher Mr Paty and branded him a 'thug' in an online video

    Spencer Davis aged 81.
Great memories associated with Spencer Davis Group. Keep On Running was playing as the teams came out for the Millwall game Boxing Day 1965 and saw them the night England won the World Cup.

A mate of mine worked with Waggy at fenners. And yes he was a clever c**t and a right bellend apparently, though he didn't work their long because he couldn't hak it.

He was a great player but so was Chris Chilton, the difference is that Chris Chilton is genuinely also a great man.
