Thinking on, when this takeover comes to pass - and it will in some form due to greed & desperation - at least we should be ok, if you don't mind us known as Leeds 49ers.
The 49ers name comes from the year 1849 which was the start of the gold rush and a significant year in the history of northern California. I'm sure they'll name us after a year more relevant to our history like the year we first won the title. We could be the Leeds United 69ers.
But we won't, humorous though it would be. It'll be a stamp on us that clearly indicates that they own us. #LeedsLivesMatter
Some good parts to this deal but the outrageous principle contained within it of the rich votes counting for more than the poor's is way way to far.
What are Scotland doing ? Can't they look after their players ? That's twice in a month that Cooper's been away with them and twice he's picked up an injury - this time in training ! Bielsa needs a word with Liam, as to what is his priority ? Other news, it seems Leeds are interested in 19 yo Derby midfielder Louie Sibley. Looks to be OK - Friday 5pm BST is cut off Let's get the deal done.
Big villa with private pool and flew his hairdresser over to cut and colour his hair and give him a shave. Flash car in the drive and bigging it up how much cash and girls he has..... By the way well done Sam Greenwood for winning Premier League 2 Player of the Month
I won't take the obvious bait, but you nevertheless have triggered a thought with me. What if it's actually Cooper who's been carrying a worrying injury since pre-season? Might answer why we bought the extra CB that we apparently didn't need. Discuss .....
No bait intended. But the Scottish international set-up seems somewhat less impressive than the one created by the FA I would think that Bielsa' training is more intensive than that conducted by Scotland, so if Cooper was carrying a knock, Bielsa is far more likely to unearth it With regard to buying Llorente and Koch, my gut feeling is that Bielsa wants to play three at the back, not four.
we needed the extra because cooper is not that good is reckless and picks up injuries.the two we signed are an upgrade not reserves coopers days are numbered.
18yo Henry Kumwanda has been released and signed his first pro contract with Hull City. Hope he does well. Henry joined Leeds as an 11yo and worked his way through age groups and finally managed to get some minutes with the U23s last season, but alas his high point was with the U18s winning the league
if the oppo play 2 up front he likes to play 3 centre backs. My guess is llorente allows that but also is competition for both centre backs and cover for Phillips.
