Watch these ones, these are what they are considering for mountain rescue paramedics... The video is 3 years old, so they've advanced them since then, and have tried them on land, not just over water.
Not sure how they'd help for Mountain rescue bar bringing people supplies. Which I guess is useful. Unless you can take a passenger?
