I think it is going to be a busy week ahead. Don't rule out Phillips leaving. Liverpool are interested in bringing in Butland from Stoke and that could free up a position for Phillips.
We all understand that players come & go, but Dillon will be one of the few players I will regret leaving CAFC. I believe the club will come to regret it, too. Bowyer was too rash in going public on the situation, and I am told that bridges have been burned as a result. The whole Phillips family are good people & passionate Charlton fans. This could and should have been handled better!
I agree, but you can't undo what has been said, and it's now better that Dillon leaves with our best wishes POTY always leaves anyway. It looks like Amos is getting back to his best, which is very good, and AM-B looks a very good prospect, and neither seem injury-prone.
I know we have a lot of midfielders, but if this Gotts bloke is better than most of them, let's have him. As long as we do also get players in the other positions where we are short of actual bodies, not just quality.
He’s also a RB so maybe being brought in for that position, he’s been described as very versatile and a real prospect

Have we not got Gotts then? Pity. If we got him plus a couple of whizz-kid PL loans (and keep Phillips) we can probably get through to January just about in the top half. I'm disappointed we have not been able to clear out more than 1 player to make room for more newcomers.
Our medical team must do better. Another player injured in training? It's not as though we're overloaded with top defenders; Pearce had better come back soon and stay fit. We've got games coming up thick and fast.
