I know that Sherlock, but why did he wait ages and why did he run back to where the player shot from to wave his flag.
Well, because he would have spoken to the referee to confirm he was in the keeper's line of vision. Not sure about the second part.
****e formation. ****e line up. Three RBs being played in an XI, with two out of position. But the absolute worst two are Dier in place of Coady and Maitland-Niles should be playing LWB if Southgate is insistent on playing it, rather than an RB out of position.
So so predictable, it's almost like watching Pellegrino's Saints. It desperately need some invention out there and I hope Gareth is brave enough to change it sooner rather than later because there only looks like one winner so far.
England cannot get the ball from defence to the midfield. Belgium's front three press in a way Hasenhuttl would be proud of. However, England don't help themselves with the two central midfielders not showing properly and Trippier always having to turn inside as he has no left foot. Have to say Mount has done pretty well considering most of us would have preferred Grealish.
Well, that was an incredible turnaround... Much better second half performance though perhaps a little lucky with the goals. I do wonder if Belgium will realise their potential under Martinez.
I mean I whinge like feck and I wasn’t convinced by the performance, but that is one hell of a result!
Great result. I still don't think Gareth, lovely bloke, decent man manager and all that, is a great football manager though.
He's got a weird Trippier fetish for sure. The second half was much better but I still think we have a better team other than was out there tonight.
I don't care so much about reducing the size of PL to 18 teams, but the giving 6 clubs the ability to dictate the whole league...Utterly deplorable by the mafia-like cartel that is the Premier League's 'elite'. **** them all. And **** Rick Parry, Huddersfield have just as much a right to have a say as Man United.
