McCann would have been sacked by now if supporters where allowed in the grounds.
We would have hounded him out.
    He's a dead man walking

Bang on GE and if crowds had been in the ground, we wouldn't have been relegated IMO...

I also think the lack of a crowd was a factor in relegation. We didn’t have anyone in the ground to give the players a lift. My really big problem with Terry is simple. He can’t do it in the Championship as he has already proved. What’s the point in keeping him. Even if we do get promoted we are going to have to get rid of him anyway. The guy simply can’t motivate a team or organise one when things start to slip. He never accepts responsibility but always blames something else. Anyone can manage a winning side it’s when things start to go wrong that you show your mettle.

The way we've played at times this year, he would've struggled to make it out of the car park.

Fleetwood was the first full game I have watched this season. It had all the hallmarks of everything that was diabolical at the end of last season.

Not sure. He wasn’t really what we need anyway in my opinion. No disrespect to him. We desperately needed an experienced CM.

I've been fortunate to see all but the plymouth game .. and tbf were as teams didn't take their chances against us and lacked that cutting edge in the games I have watched .. a defeat like this was always a possibility with the mistakes and shakeyness displayed to date. Ingram definitely is an improvement on Long imho but the make up and coaching of the defence in general needs work .. how much it will improve is anyones guess but with the system employed I doubt very much .. I've said once and I'll say again that this manager does not have what it takes to take us forward his tactics .. his naiveity.. his inability to change or react to what is in front of him is none existent. We either settle for mediocrity and keep this clown or we look for someone who is an actual manager / coach who is flexible in his approach, and make a push.

Totally agree we need experience in middle of the pitch who is a hard and ruthless player, as the rest of the side is as soft as ****.

For me... a manager has have the respect of his players .. he has to "earn the right"... this group I am certain are more than capable in the right hands... but when they look at him, listen to him, the reaction has to be 'and how would you know"...

    Five game report
    Gillingham decent win.
    Crewe hard fought win.
    Northampton look like strugglers.
    Plymouth hard fought win.
    Fleetwood second best.

I guess Fleetwood have been the first to take their chances..next five could tell us a lot about how the season will pan out.

George Honeyman knows that he and his Hull City team mates have to learn quickly from their 4-1 defeat to Fleetwood Town on Friday night.

The stand-in skipper scored the equaliser as the Tigers made it 1-1 before half time, but a poor showing after the break saw Grant McCann’s side fall to their first league defeat of the season.

“In the first half, we weren’t at our best but we were still massively in the game,” he said. “It started off in the second half with my mistake and that seemed to be the catalyst for the momentum changing.

“We’ve got to learn to be more resilient. We’ve shown that in our first four games but now we’ve got to see what went wrong and we need to have a bit more about us then to capitulate if we go behind. I’ve got to take responsibly as it started with my
think us as midfielders had to win more second balls and I think that was where it was won and lost ultimately.

“We just weren’t able to recover in the second half. It’s a long season and we’re going to have bumps in the road, but if we lose we need to show more fight than what we showed out there.

“We’ll be honest with ourselves and each other and we’ll make sure a performance like that one in the second half doesn’t happen again this season.

“We have to learn from it and use it as a reality check, and the good thing about this league is that there’s 41 games to go, so there’s a lot of games to make amends for what happened against Fleetwood.

“You have to have the mindset to come to every game, no matter where it is or what day, with full application. It’s all about mindset and tonight we didn’t show ours during the game.”
