    Messin up the pitch

Hull FC will make their long-awaited return to the KCOM Stadium when they welcome Castleford Tigers on October 18.

The game was originally scheduled for August but had to be postponed due to a coronavirus outbreak in the FC camp
It means three fixtures in nine days for Andy Last’s side, with the match falling in between the games against Huddersfield Giants and Catalans Dragons on October 13 and 22 respectively.

And there is Leicester Tigers. Common, lousy name. They must be raking in a fortune in sponsorship. We had a possibility of a whole £1million if only we had bowed down to Allam's wishes. That could have made all the difference whilst we were struggling along on £100million or so in the PL.

I visited a coastal resort here in Vietnam a few weeks ago, and came across a restaurant come bar owned by an American guy and his local wife. There were a few expats in the night I went, and I had a City Polo shirt type on, with the old badge the Tigers head and 1904. This Yank piped up that I know that team, Leicester Tigers. I put him right obviously..

When you tell people you are from Hull is the first question they ask is whether you are a red and white or black and white?

Everybody seems to be quoting Barchullona's age today(be it calling him old or referring to 'his generation')? Can I be nosey and ask how old he actually is?

Has anyone got a Radiocarbon dating machine? (also referred to as carbon dating or carbon-14 dating) - this is a method for determining the old age of a crusty object containing organic material by using the properties of radiocarbon, a radioactive isotope of carbon and urine extraction by younger (and some older) upstarts

The world famous black n whites are now called 'Gutsy FC' by the HDM after their latest defeat.
And the equally world famous HKR currently bottom of the league and getting beat again at Les Catalon's place have one fan at their match in France. Of course the HDM are covering the 'story'. Turns out the fan was over there anyhow and travelled across from Portugal for the game, but hold the front page.

'There is £50 million available in loans to clubs from the EFL and I'm sure some clubs will be taking it up,' a club official told Sportsmail after receiving notification of the loan facility.

'It is an emergency loan for those clubs that need money now to keep going. To claim the money the club has to show it is on the edge and facing administration. It is a last resort loan for clubs in need of cash.'

Up to 15 clubs are believed to be at risk of financial collapse in the EFL, with a number unable to meet their payroll payments for October.

The EFL and clubs have repeatedly warned there is a danger teams will go bust without immediate financial help because the government's ban on fans in stadiums has reduced their matchday income to zero.
