Good Morning. Its Thursday 8th October, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road.

NFL Giants desperate to invest as Leeds disclose 40m losses due to fans ban

Bosses at NFL outfit San Francisco 49ers are desperate to take on a bigger role at Elland Road according to The Sun. The 49ers paid £11million for a 10 per cent stake in the club in 2018 and already have executives on the Leeds Utd board.

Radrizzani is open to selling another minority stake, though the investment is likely to be 10 fold the 11m the 49ers paid for a 10 percent stake in Leeds two years ago. The deal included a place on the Leeds board for 49ers President and good friend of Radrizzani Paraag Marathe.

The Leeds owner has already rejected takeover offers in recent weeks from unnamed parties even though is has been disclosed that the ban of fans has already caused losses of almost £40m at Elland Road.

Speaking to NBC Sports, 49ers president Paraag Marathe said: "We want to get more involved.

"Right now we are passengers on their plane. We are not flying the plane by any means. "We want to help more. We want to drive more value on and off the pitch and use the 49ers expertise. "We want to become bigger partners with Andrea. We are hoping that comes to fruition. To some extent we want to help him fly the plane a little bit more."

"The sky's the limit for Leeds. This is not a club where we made it to the Premier League and we are barely trying to hang on by the laces of our shoes. "This is a club that has every opportunity to become one of the big contenders year in, year out in the Premier League.

"They have the fan hood, they have the stadium for it, they have the geography as a one club city."All the ingredients are there. We just have to deliver."

Cuisance - I did not fail Leeds Medical.

Michael Cuisance has hit back at reports stating he failed his medical exam at Thorp Arch.

The Bayern midfielder looked set to join the Whites for 20m until unforeseen circumstances presented themselves.

According to The Athletic, the medical assessment had discovered an issue with one of Cuisance's feet. Leeds have not disclosed any more than that at this stage.

Whilst Leeds went on to sign Brazilian winger Raphinha, Cuisance has sealed a loan move to Marseille with an option to buy at the end of the season.

Cuisance told RMC Sport “There were no problems with the medical visit," "I had one in Marseille and it went really well. There was no problem on my end. "After that, I don't know any more. Here I passed it and I am in good shape."

Marseille Head of Football Pablo Longoria backed up the 21yo saying there was no problem with the midfielder's fitness assessment.

"We did not find any issues with his medical, everything was done properly," Longoria said.

"He is completely available, at 100 per cent."

Where will Leeds finish this season?

Having spent just shy of 85m in the Summer transfer window, many Leeds fans are getting carried away with where they expect Leeds o finish the season!

Are you of the view that if we avoid relegation, that's all that matters?

Perhaps you think Leeds can make the top 10?

The three stooges Whitty, Vallance and Ferguson must have examined Cuisance.

    Morning all,

The fact that the 49'ers wasn't to invest more now shows that they fully expect us to finish high this season and possibly Europe or most certainly making a push for Europe next season.

I saw a tweet, before Sundays games I must say, that potentially summed up this season brilliantly.

"Liverpool are gonna win the league. Wba & Fulham are going down. Every other spot on the league is a free for all."

Everton look the best so far.
Leeds, Villa & West Ham, one promoted team and two of last seasons relegation scrappers are tearing up the place.
Leicester & Wolves are starting slowly.
Man City are off the title pace already.
    Man Utd look awful.
Palace & Southampton are ones to watch.
Burnley & Newcastle look unremarkable and are in for a mid table borefest of a season.
Arsenal, Chelsea & Tottenham will do their usual fight for 3rd to 7th. They will look like title contenders one week & relegation fodder the next.
Sheffield utd look to be suffering from second season syndrome.
Brighton look like they are in for their normal season of good performances but still finding themselves in a relegation scrap.

    Morning guys.

Watched bits and pieces of the Portugal vs Spain game and Llorente stood head and shoulders above others around him. Excellent performance, very very calm in posession, brought it out of defence when the space was there and looked pretty solid defensively.

The other player who looked lively and full of energy was our very own Rodrigo. Very good signs for us.

Anybody watch Koch last night? How did he do?

49ers bought 10% for around £10m and if Radz sells them another 10% this time it will cost them £30m which is exactly what their initial 10% is worth, so a great investment by them a few years ago. Radz has already said he doesnt want to sell the club but is open to investment as he wants to stay in charge, but we know he needs to cash in a bit due to losses in BeInSport UK. So I think he may sell 49ers 20% for around £60m giving them 30% of the club but have them able to bankroll future players etc.

Hearing that Cooper is injured so not playing in this Scotland match? But loving the way Diego Llorente played against Ronaldo last night. Rodrigo played as a winger and played well and had a couple of long range digs. He looks the part and you can see why Bielsa rates him because he can play anywhere in the front 3 or at 10. Versatile players are gold.

looks like Douglas will be going and probably to Watford, but maybe Orta can get his own back on the Pozzo’s and refuse and then let him go to Blackburn. Not sure where Douglas lives but Blackburn is doable from his present house so no upheaval?

The Cuisance headlines are out of order. Yes he may have passed a medical for his present club but Rob Price found something in his left foot that could flare up and require surgery keeping him out of the team for weeks. It might not happen at all or it could happen next match. Rob Price was asked what he would do if it was his £20m and said not buy him. So I get it and it seems a sound judgement to me even though I would have loved Cuisance to be here

Think this says it all, different gravy under this ownership and with Bielsa sorting out the everything from the ground up on the playing side and coaching, we have a proactive professional analytics department to aid Victor and Marcelo <applause><applause>

    Morning all...

I still think we’ll finish around 10th I just hope for a season where we don’t drop out the bottom half. I won’t care about missing out on top 6 as long as we’re never in a relegation fight. It’s all about player experience and the new guys finding their feet.

Wish the Tod Cantwell agent would STFU because I dont care what he or Cantwell say, I only listen to Bielsa. If Bielsa says he wants Cantwell, or Buendia or Benrahama fine we will just go and get whichever one he wants.

However he may decide that they are all overpriced and do without, but I am rapidly coming round to the same views as some on here who say John Swift from Reading is better. I have done a bit of research and the kid has played for England at every age level except full International because his career was stalled by Chelsea just sending him out on loan after loan until Reading bought him. But you dont get to play for England in the Championship.
