Yes because tens of thousands of cancer etc patients have needlessly had their treatments cancelled for this over blown virus that just 0.71% of the Uk population has had and they've consequently died. The NHS is empty and hardly anyone in hospital with this virus - just 2 people in Bolton.

There is your excess deaths in a nutshell. Interesting eh at a time where Social care and the number of elderly is the big issue of our time.

The virus figures are massively over stated and massively mis represented.

14 consecutive weeks and counting that flu deaths have exceeded this overblown virus deaths - 14 weeks!!

The whole thing is a national scandal and will undoubtedly bring the government down. Certain of it.

In reality it should actually be less. Reduced accidents at work and on roads as well as a reduction in other germ related illness. There has already been way, way more Covid related deaths than any flu in living memory in the UK. There is no logical reason whatsoever why government would exaggerate the figures. It is however in their interests to underestimate them.

Well according to one medic mate, the whole of the UK's population has not been exposed to the virus... it could be as low as 20%.

So as I have no idea how much of the population is over 60, I shall assume say 10m. So if only 20% of that 10m ie 2m have been exposed and 40,000 have died ( mostly elderly) that is 2% and if all the elderly are exposed can we expect, 200,000 older folk to die?

Is that what is worrying Bonko that many old people die under his watch?

I note that the Govt has conveniently found an extra 16k cases to frighten you all with - no doubt to make Whitty and Vallence's ridiculous third grade crayoned graph seem less embarrassing for them - however of course the one thing you are not being told and everyone is conveniently bypassing is that there were no additional hospital admissions relating to them or deaths.

Cases are rapidly becoming an irrelevance and mean nothing unless the death rate or hospital admission rates go up.

who cares if there are 10000 each day if no one ends up in hospital or dies?

The test are flawed anyway as the inventor of them has said - they find anything and everything you have ever had

People rapidly becoming extremely suspicious of all this nonsense and the government are going to be in for a very, very tough time very shortly.

Still - lets "Build Back Better" as every single leader in every country in the world is now saying in unison - nothing suspicious about that at all. no siree

Not sure if you are conveniently missing the facts, but deaths and hospital admissions are also on the rise, but thankfully not to the levels as the early months of the virus as yet. 9 recorded deaths in Sunderland/South Tyneside.

It's the risk to the vulnerable that is the concern.

So going on your logic if 90% of people don't know that they have it then surely we should be more concerned and it is infact, more contagious than many have thought.

What % of the UK population is in the "at risk category"? Lets say it's about 30% and 90% of those not at high risk may have the virus as they show no symptoms. Not really much hope for those 30% at high risk is there?

Statistics can be used many different ways to emphasise a point can't they.

The virus figures now being reported are now totally discredited and the net is starting to close in on the government.

30 deaths IS tiny on a population & statistical sense (obv each is a real person & often tragic). But from a public health perspective it’s noise. 1650 people die per day in ordinary times. 30 is 2%. It’s not faintly unusual. Respiratory deaths are FAR higher than this, all year round.

The question to ask now is - why are they doing this? what is their end game?

The government and the 1% are absolutely **** at this game. they always get found out because they are pathetically inept - a bit like just about everything now. Real low class.

Cases mean zero and the deaths are about as low as you can get without it being nil.

Liverpool and surrounding areas (non tory area) being locked down because there are now 322 cases of this virus in 100000.

Lets hope the 0.322 in every 100 people are better soon.

Why do you keep stopping me from posting on this forum and deleting my posts?

Is the truth simply too uncomfortable for you?

Look - you've been had by this government over this virus and the truth is about to come out.

As yet I didnt think we lived in airstrip 1 but perhaps this forum is proving that we now do. Stop censoring people.

At the minute we still live in a free country with free speech. Get it?

He's been about for a few days now, disrupting threads and abusing others, which in turn has encouraged similar retaliation, and he's even changed his name in an attempt, I presume, to disguise himself :emoticon-0112-wonde

Anyway, he's been discussed and we (the mods), as well as others, do not want this forum to become anything like any neighbouring forums that are like the Wild West, so, rightly or wrongly, he's gone <ok>

I know there's a funny side to Trump's 'Michael Jackson' drive-by moment but it just shows the position in which these people put their staff. It reminded of the Princess Diana/Al Fayed incident whereby a chauffer is ordered to drive at 100mph through a city in the middle of the night.

The chauffeur, and bodyguards, are hapless victims in cases like this whereby they're expected to go way above the terms of their employment by capricious employers who believe they're above the law.

I can't abide people like them.

I don't believe Trump has the virus, its a response to his failure to humiliate Biden, a callous vote catcher nothing more.

Well if he has had the virus and that’s what he looks like after 2 days I can understand why BBB says it’s not worth worrying about so someone is making up s hite somewhere.
