Guess Romeu was playing for his place today with this in mind.

Who would of thought we would have two clean sheets with Vestergaard in defence?

    KWP top class yet again.

I don't really care that Spurs fans generally didn't rate him, and thought they had ripped us off. He's been superb for us.

Good result. Two clean sheets in a row, however we mustn’t get carried away. We beat two **** teams. Teams we’d often lose to, so it’s good progress.

Well he's been the stand out CB in both games. MOTM last week, 2nd to KWP today IMO. But 2 very good games from him.

We beat Chelsea 2-0 at the Bridge last season, so we need to see a 3-0 win in 2 weeks for progress. :)

Mustn't knock it...we have to beat the teams that we should beat. Too many seasons when we don't, then rely on points against top sides.

First half performance Saints looked like our old selves post lockdown. Second half was comfortable. Good win and still plenty of room for improvement.

Not a bad weekend all round with Southampton, Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Eastleigh and Sholing all winning. Don't you all love it when our teams in the Solent area do well?

Down to fitness levels improving. I suspect clubs have had different kinds of preparation to normal given that some had to complete their European fixtures. Now we have the complete farce of an international break. Could the powers that be, scrapped these fixtures so that clubs can get themselves into a groove again?
