Well, the roads. And the wine. Have I just crossed over into a thread quoting Life of Brian? If so, I'm a very naughty boy

On Djenepo, beyond the previous conversation: it's very clear that we're aiming to overload the middle and right of the pitch here. Djenepo's been tucked behind Ings much more often than he's been playing anything approximating left wing. We're relying on Bertrand to provide width while trying to outnumber WBA's LB and LCB. And it's rather much working.

If this season’s form is any guide, we should improve in the second half while West Brom should crumble away entirely.

    There, that’s done it.

Deserved lead, should be more but their keeper is having a blinder. Good goal from Moussa. Defence looking good. Need to cut out the sloppy passes in midfield.

WBA are going to gave a long hard season playing like that. I think they aren't fit enough for the Premier League.

Didn't realise that was Djenepo's first goal at St Mary's.

The commentator said West Brom have conceded 3 in the second half of every game so far this season so fingers crossed...

Did Che not get the slightest of touches for that goal? I cant quite see on the stream, but it looked like the ball spin changed. I’m sure one of you nippers with better eyes will tell me I’m a moron.

How many games did he end up playing last season - I didn’t think he was anywhere near a Prowsie. Thought he only played maybe 20-25 games.

    Edit - 18 games

Che didn't get a touch on it. Source: it didn't end up a yard wide of the far post.

Absolutely. Played when he did mainly as sub, so that stat doesn’t worry me at all. I think we have something between a Boufal and a Mané with him. Probably nearer the former, but we’ll see!

Yeah, i think you may be right. I still think there is something more he needs to do, and maybe he needs confidence.

Oh, and the obligatory Fats “6 games’...
