All those Saturdays will end up being Sunday (or Monday as with Leeds). Teams in Europa always do, even before Covid where more games are played on a Sunday anyway, the games involving teams in the EL always got pushed back even if not televised.

Fofana and Under on the bench, Amartey deserves to keep his place but no Maddison, is he injured?

This is dreadful, not sure why he kept 5 at the back, different kind of game more like the first two. Obviously Ricardo, Ndidi, Maddison and Praet all out doesn’t help.

I thought the idea of playing 5 at the back was to soak up pressure and play on the counter? He have chosen a bit more of an attacking line up at home to West Ham. Hopefully I’ll be eating my words at full time.

Nope - we have been awful.

No positives at all from the game, everyone played **** and we didn't have a shot on target.

Amartey was carried off the pitch - poor lad.

Absolutely pointless performance. Literally may as well have forfeited it, 3-0 is the standard score for that right? We won’t do anything worthwhile under Rodgers as for every game like last week over the season, we’ll have 2/3 of today. No consistency.

Horror show. Not sure why we started with a back 5 at home tbf.

Credit where it is due mind .. West Ham were very good and they thoroughly deserved the win on the day.

We actually looked quite comfortable until they scored ... really do rate Antonio , wish we could have poached him.

Hopefully Praet and Maddison back soon.

    That's footie. <cheers>

West Ham fully deserved to win today. Defensively, we were all over the place.

Shame Barnes’ goal was ruled out for offside by a centimetre from VAR, as that would have been an excellent goal.

Let’s see how we react after that shambles!

This is more like the Leicester I know and love. Amazing one week and absolutely pitiful the next. Have had over 60 years of this and it makes me feel that whilst a load of **** goes on in the world, that somethings never change. Stay safe one and all - at least we wont get beat next week.

It’s very easily thrown out there but that was as bad a performance as we’ve seen for some time. No efforts on target at home to West Ham, no desire and defending like a Sunday league side. The inconsistency is so frustrating.
Still a good points total after 4 games. We had done the hard bit last week though and going into two home games against sides we did the double over last season, scoring 15 on total and scoring 4 in both the home fixtures gave a real chance at 5 wins from 5 before Europa started. Normally after a game like that players and fans want the next one to come around ASAP to put it right but the break will hopefully help us with the injuries. If we could get Maddison and Praet back for Villa would be great as we were light in midfield and creativity today. Ricardo may also be not far off returning then too? I like Justin especially going forward but he doesn’t fill me with faith at the back so we need Ricardo back. Also not too keen on the imbalance with 2 right footers on the left but this will be the case with Casagne or Ricardo there if we don’t plan to get a natural left footed in that position.

Thumped. Oh how I wish we had gone for Bowen instead of Perez, but there you go. Typical Leicester as others have mentioned. I think we will see Fofana against Villa, probably Evans's worst game for us. At least Jose will be taking all the headlines. Liverpool must be laughing their ar*ses off.

Bad game but probably important not to overreact and make wholesale changes. These games happen to everyone - see Liverpool and Man Utd today!

Well those last two games did take the focus off us somewhat....
Its just so unpredictable right now, if ever there was a time to be able to grind results out

I don't think it would have mattered if we hadn't gone 3 at the back yesterday. It was in midfield where we didn't have the players to make the difference. Games like that make you realise how much we rely on having one of Praet or Maddison being fit to complement Tielemanns. I have to agree with Nzfoxfan, I was surprised we didn't go for Bowen when he was available. I am also a little disappointed we didn't make a move for Buendia from Norwich. Ordinarily 3 midfielders would be enough to keep us competitive, but we are going through an injury blackspot at the moment, like many other teams.

The position that concerns me more is in central defence. We always look like conceding from any set piece lofted into the box, and never get a head on any of our own set pieces at the other end. Hopefully new Big Wes can sort that out.
