McGeady...

Should he be given a chance now after watching yet again our inability to create, score or have a player capable of producing abit of magic out of nowhere?
Imo Parkinson needs to stop chopping his nose off to spite his face. Whats everybody elses opinion on this.............??

He is along with Maguire the best creative and likely to score...

On the other hand he just cannot defend and is a liability anywhere near his own goal. Plus of course he is cnut to his own team mates.

I know what you mean but he would ultimately let us down again and pack in when he doesn't fancy it.
Although we're not the greatest (yet) I'm watching every player giving their all right now and he didn't in lots of games last season.
Move him on, if he decides to stick and get paid for nowt he will be a forgotten man by the time he is looking for a new club again.

Can’t agree at all tees. His wages are a massive problem and would take us over the cap anyhow (as he’s not in the squad they don’t count).

He’s undoubtedly talented but last season, every time he got the ball, he’d beat his man, then go back and beat him again and eventually do it too many times and lose the ball.

Needs gone. We created chances today. It was putting them on that was the issue

Not for me a mean we got back to back relegations to which he is part of it's no good him strutting around thinking he's the bees knees and much better than the people around him. If he was that good teams would have came in for him. Anyone that disrupts a dressing room needs gone.

Nope, we need pace - in terms of speed of movement, but also in moving the ball forwards. He does neither of these things.

 

Better option to develop a youth player in that position.

 

As someone with very limited talent, who got up to the level of trials with Alfreton Town ....

He won't solve the atriker problem, or teamwork. He's not a team-player like Rodriguez who lifts and connects everyone around him.
He's a talented but divisive ****house. The McGeady show didn't get us promoted last time, and he's now older and slower. .... and can't play No 9 or 10 which is what we need
