For me, Redmond still starts. But at the same time, I do quite often finish Saints' games having wanted more from him. Which isn't something I say about Armstrong on the other side, for example. A PEH replacement is our no.1 priority by Monday. But after that, the next on my list would be competition for Redmond. And whether that ultimately leads to increased output on a more regular basis from Redmond, or him losing his place to the better man, well time would tell.
Redmond will probably always be a frustrating player, but the possibility of magic is enough to justify his selection
I would love Redders to shoot more, rather than try to slot in one more step over - but he's a starter for me. Looks so good when he plays aggressively.
Check the Huddersfield forums* or ask them... absolutely purred over him and never even wasted time thinking they’d ever get him back for a second loan. For my money he’s the most technically gifted and talented player to come through the Arsenal academy in the last five seasons. Would be very excited to get him but pretty sure Arteta really likes him and sees him as a project. * would never advise anyone to visit those forums
Re: Redmond I agree with what most have said about wishing for more end product. BUT if he had that, he’s most likely not be playing for us....
Those young players at Norwich I liked being split up. Lewis already gone to Newcastle, Cantwell to Leeds and Godfrey to Everton allegedly. Just Aarons and Buendia to go
The Sun going fairly big on Loftus-Cheek. Saying that Chelsea are prepared to pay £100k of his wages (!!!) and that Saints are the main interested party - unless he's used as a makeweight with West Ham to get hold of Declan Rice.
Rashicas name popped up randomly by someone, Do you think this could be a possibility or just some BS?
I don't see any way we: A - Pay the fee B - Pay the wages he wants That could be a bit of an obstacle.
Boufal close to completing permanent switch to Angers, where he came through the youth ranks and made his pro debut.
