Ignoring who the penalty was awarded to, this new handball rule is the worst decision that the FA has made. Been shocking since first game of the season.
I hate var, and this new handball carry on. It's ruining the game imo. 3 or 4 mins to decided if it's a pen or not. I'm not sure how I would feel being in a stadium cheering a pen being awarded (or not) then the decision being reversed. Takes all the fun and intensity out of it imo. Referees decision should be final.
Just watched Adrian in goal trying to use gamesmanship in the penalty shootout and losing. Would’ve loved the Arsenal boys to rub it in his face!!!
I really enjoyed it, that arsenal keeper is mint, some of those saves he made tonight were total class
Only saw the last half hour or so. Been watching Ozark on Netflix with the wife. But loved when Adrian did that in the penalties. Hate when keepers do that in shootouts!! Love it when it bites them!!!
... at 8pm on a 'lockdown Satda night' ffs. This is ridiculous when the pubs will turn out at 10pm. You wouldn't blame people for carrying on the party if their team win tbh. The students, confined in the town, will be able to see all this but expected not to join in. Both the government and Sky bleat on about responsibility while showing very little.
TBF mate, I was sympathising with you. The kick off time, even on a normal Saturday, is poor. The NE is experiencing a lockdown worse than WW2 ... ... but can't even have a post match pint with their mates.
I know mate, I was on about the rest. Doesn’t really bother me tbh, I’m in quarantine for another ten days (holiday) Cheers Boris.
