A decent swop like the Altidore/Defoe one, would be the making of us.

Looking at the fixtures before the season, I would have settled for two wins and two draws.
We need to start taking chances soon, but a not too shabby start.

But it was nice, for a change, to actually threaten on corner kicks.

    A really good summary.
I never wanted Graham for a number of reasons and up to now I'm being proved right. Hopefully though we will eventually take a few chances and we will click.
Theres still a few days left in the transfer window so maybe we might do something.

At this rate might be better to play an extra midfielder and play Maguire, Gooch, Power and Scowen as they all have a goal in them.

Thankfully we're defending really well and don't look like conceding a goal. Onwards and upwards.

Im not sure if i agree with this like.
Gooch had a stinker imo, surely Diamond deserves a chance over him.
Leadbitter was motm for me, he looks really comfortable in that holding role where his old legs arent overly exposed. He still has that stand out passing ability and range for this level.
Danny Graham needs to join the coaching staff i think. He shouldnt even be allowed to buy a pair of footy boots, nevermind wear them.

We all want to be firing on all cylinders and putting teams to the sword, but it's not as easy I'm afraid. We all know where the problems lie, but I'm quite optimistic for us this year. We should be sitting here with 4 wins, and that alone shows me we have improved.

This is how I feel, a half decent striker and we would have had 8 points from a very hard start on paper at least, but those two draws have been frustrating.

So would I mate assuming they're doing well in training, it's fair play to give the senior lads first go but I agree it's time to change it up. It might take us playing twice a week for them to get a chance and convince Parky they can do it, which we pretty much are all this month.

They should all get a run out midweek in the Trophy, maybe give our strikers an extra go at finding the back of the net.

A game or two in the U23's would do no harm imo.

Didnt think it was too bad. Obviously should have won and Graham should have converted at least one of those chances. Charlton were rubbish mind, didn;t trouble Burge.

I would have took a point before game so am not going to pull my hair out

Fair enough, I thought we were alright today, except the finishing. Not sure what else is wrong with my post tbh.
