Looked like the winner was hanging Nass, rather than it being a jockey decision. Buick had his whip in his left hand
ODDY, willie text but i cant repeat it, something about the ground , water and lazy horses, in a nut shell dont go there, but he asked after you betting with me heart on a g lee lucky 15 (ew) lumped large on Guns & Butter, Colditz & Micka Mika (get on this) treble stay frosty
A good ew wager for me on MEANDRE. 14/1 with Bet365 and William Hill both offering 1/3 odds for 1,2,3. The Andre Fabre trained 3yo was supplemented for a cost of â¬100,000. Andre Fabre has an excellent record at the Arc. Meandre seems to like the track and has won back to back races at Longchamp over C&D before finishing 2nd to the French derby winner Reliable Man LTO. The ground was on the softer side that day which fell right for Reliable Man. On the previous occasion Meandre beat Reliable Man convincingly on slightly quicker ground even though the ground was described the same âgood to softâ. The faster ground today will suit. Has a nice turn of foot on this type of surface and Maxime Guyon takes the ride again. This years Arc is a tough one to call but I feel horses with a great turn of foot will be the one taking the prize. For me Sarafina is the danger who has a great turn of foot probably even more so than my selection but I feel this hold up type horse with a late burst will not have enough to peg Meandre back. The unknown quantity Danedream has also been supplemented and has won G1âs with ease in Germany and the Italian Oaks. Not sure what to make of the form but at 25/1 might be worth a tiny dabble.
I dreamt that QPR beat Fulham 1-0...strange since I don't support either team and neither have ever entered my consciousness. Do what you want with this information....
Just a quick word on Goldikova's loss to Dream Ahead- what a great race. Dream Ahead proves his class and what a shame Goldi could not win on her final start in France. However, she owes nothing- an all-time great filly who is probably just starting to drop down a couple of pounds of ability. I hope she can win in America but even if she does not, she has already accomplished it all and she is a nailed on great. Will Buick double- can he make it a treble on MM?
Right I've lumped on So You Think. I think he has been crying out for more than 10 Furlongs this season and I think the Arc is the sort of race he can excel in. Come on lad
I ought to have had a few bob on the German horse Heffernan had SYT too far back, he would have gone the early place, should have had him handier as he came down the straight very well
