HIAG bruv, you're overthinking this. The Govt aren't deliberately conspiring to try and crash the economy and **** everybody over, that is happening because they are incompetent. If they had shutdown earlier, got ppe in place, set up the contact, trace and isolate services, then we probably would have had a similar outcome to places like South Korea and New Zealand, whose Govt's actually got on top of it early.

Tbph I'm fed up with the guy, I actually do wish he would pisss off for good. I enjoy the different opinion he offers, but I'm tired of his constant overt aggression, when you give simple responses to his comments. Such as when I said vulnerable could include a fair number of members on our forum, in response to another one of his comments. That suddenly becomes my obsession towards coronavirus blah, blah. It's a simple fact that I had to self-isolate during the lockdown, along with others on here, that wasn't a choice, that was a medical instruction. I wasn't in the shielding group but have self isolated apart from outdoor activities as we are deffo "vulnerable" and therefore the only sensible action was to avoid indoor activities wherever possible .

For what it's worth I hope Trump dies (he wont, he'll be fine and I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't have it at all - he'll then use it as an argument for why everyone is just over-reacting). My stance isn't from disliking the guy, it's purely a Utilitarianism.
