I've seen a number of these threads on other forums so I thought I'd start one on here and see how it goes......

3 games in and we are looking good at the top of the table. Of course its a nice place to be, but I can't imagine that the table will stay looking like this.
I think that Blackburn, Reading, Stoke and possibly ourselves too will fall away and the likes of Florest and Derby will get going.
I can't see Sheffield Wednesday staying rooted to the bottom - they have enough quality to claw their way to safety (a bit like Leeds did a few seasons ago)
An interesting observation from me is that the newly relegated teams haven't taken the league by storm yet - and so far don't look like ex-premiership teams to be honest - a bit like Stoke and Huddersfield did when they came down.
Of course it's early days, but I love looking at the table at the moment!

Pretty much what I have said in the past … to add to, reinforce your comments almost every season one that comes down seems to fall by the wayside ...think my prediction for this season is Norwich? will need to reread to check. Promoted well that was Wycombe [div 1 next season], Coventry a struggler [ may avoid rele ] and Rotherham may prove best of them, mid table! A last season contender top 6 often struggles the next season candidates this season is PNE and Derby . Strugglers last season putting it together could be Birmingham and Stoke

I hope we can add to their misery on Saturday, but their bad run has to end some time. Hopefully it won't be against us

I still think Forest have a very good squad - it's just taking time to gel - worried that we could see the backlash on Saturday

Just watching bits of the Norwich v Derby game.
Derby don’t look very good at all.

So far so good, you have to give Nottingham fair respect for their efforts. Is Diedhiou on to bolster defence though? I have always thought he spends to much time thinking rather than doing! Thinking we might concede!

in the past we would have likely gone and lost that … [team on losing run ] so a very good result … the defence held out without the "key players"
championship is about to give us the real acid test, games are rarely an easy one a hard one an easy one a hard one an easy one a hard one …… just had a comfortable fixture start 4 games next 4 is Barnsley should be readily winnable Middsbro needs to be a winnable then 3 win or draw v Swansea, Bournemouth & Norwich a need to win v Huudersfield before an anyones guess v Cardiff!!!!!!! that's 21 points … we need at least 10!

I watched the Championship on Quest yesterday and paid particular attention to the Reading v Watford game, as Reading are the only other team with a 100% record. I thought both teams were good, but I noticed that Reading were, quite often, passing the ball without looking up - they seemed to 'know' where their teammates were going to be - and it worked quite often. I can see why they are up there.

they started their rebuild last season and avoided getting to close to the drop zone, a bit like Wigan, unfortunate their owners did a bunk … and victim of an EFL fup allowing SheffWed to escape...

it will be interesting to see what the 2 week break has done to the form1 of all/most of the clubs.
quite a few additions few discards!...
    spent moneyBarnsley BBurn, QPR, Brentford
Loans Midds, Barnsley, Reading [2], NF [also manager left ]
    Sold ..Norwich £25m
TEAMS TO LOOK OUT FOR ...in next 7 games ..
    Middsboro …
    sheff wed
    NFlorest
    Stoke
    Derby
The fixture list looks quite scrabbled as opposed to some seasons when a team fixtures resulted in 5 or 6 hard teams or 5 or 6 easy teams [ on paper ]
21 points up for grabs SHOULD City manage more than 12 likely will be in top 4 on points ……
