Should have won it in normal time. Dominated the chances, had 3 really good one.

Shame for Wilson. Prob his last touch as an lfc player is to miss the decisive pen.

Neither really, just a really **** game (both clubs), get those games every now and then. Would much prefer these matches in the cups than the league.

Ultimately not that fussed. We would get as far as the kids/ reserves got us. Probably should have been quarter finals, but doubt they could win it.

With this seasons schedule I doubt Klopp will be overly bothered.

 

Impressed with jota’s movement. Just need to finish those big chances. That’s the difference when you play for a top club.

rhys Williams my motm. Brilliant performance from him. Shame were out as would have been nice for him to get more game time but he’s certainly out himself in with a shout of being that 4th cb in my opinion.

It's always a weird cup, want to win it until you're out then not arsed.

 

Expected nothing more from Origi tbh, glad we've finally got Jota as a proper backup/option.

I don't think any top team apart from City goes into this competition particularly bothered about it, similarly not too bothered when you get knocked out.

 

History repeating itself. We really should have put a side good enough to go through. We are repeating our performances in the domestic cups of last season. Our team is strong enough to play 2 games a week. Only the FA Cup left as the last chance for a domestic cup.
