    A good signing IMO.

Bowyer could be the type of no nonsense manager he needs.

We’ve got him for free when we would have had to pay a substantial transfer fee nine months ago in the Championship.

MM has proved he can score & create goals in League One.

We sorely lack creativity in midfield, so it’s an upgrade.

One year contract, with the option of a further year.

Good signing. Does things off the cuff which is what we need. Needs a strong manager to deal with him, which we have got.

proven quality at this level. If it all goes tits up, it’s only a one year deal.

Maddison needs to forget about PlayStations and tattoos & get his head down & play football. This is a big second chance for him. He’s a free agent for a reason...

That was when he sent Bowyer to meet the Posh chairman without telling him we were under an embargo.

Has a reputation, but right now a clean slate with us.

Let's see what he can do for us on the pitch... :emoticon-0165-muscl

Shame we can’t have the fans back. My optimism dictates he could be a favourite in the covered end, and would relish the attention that comes with it.

Bowyer will need to - as long as you're right end of the table he might be alright; in a relegation battle? Forget it, he plays like he's doing you a favour. Good luck with him.

Our manager will relish the challenge I hope.

He's had his fair share of problems to overcome in the last two seasons, but now he's facing challenges of a new kind.
This is always good in my view. He will succeed and raise his stock, or fail and learn by it. At the moment, regarding the issue of one player at any rate, Lee Bowyer should have enough credit in the CAFC bank to learn such lessons without it costing him his job.

If at the end of the day it comes to a fight then I know who I will be betting on to be still standing afterwards... Bow is well versed in the art of Fisticuffs <ok>

Maybe his spell when no club would take him has made him ask himself why. Hopefully.........................................
