Shaks, you make a great point about Skinny Jeans.

Anyone over the age of 35 wont be able to get into them, and those who can look daft.

I remember having this conversation with either Next or River Island making this exact poin.

I said you might as well have a sign saying if you're over 35, **** off.

Not amused, but neither was I.

I had shopped at these places for over 20 years, suddenly why should teeny boppers or 20 something take over the World - Its not even that this age group has the most expendable cash

Remember us wearing all red in 1972 at Palace when Lorimer scored a beauty from the edge of the box, lobbing the keeper.

Think that was the only time we wore it.

Morning all. Love the new maroon top. I work with colours for a living and maroon is not red. Re new signings, looking forward to them getting up to speed over next few months, hopefully some will be successful and not a bunch of expensive big Kevs. Only time will tell, but at least Rads is trying his best

It's even harder to find suit trousers that aren't skinny fit. I'll never understand why they have racks upon racks of 46 inch waist trousers that are only available in skinny/slim fit. Who's buying them?

Nobody is buying them that's why they have racks upon racks of them, anything useful and stores don't have any

.... I can only assume you boys don’t wear skinny jeans because you don’t have a decent sized lunchbox to show off ;)

it’s a burden really, but one I’ve learnt to live with <laugh>

When you're standing beside your A.Villa relation, you'll look like two Villa fans.

Now I'm not disagreeing with you Eire because this is an area of expertise that you are familiar with. But when I googled Maroon, this snippet came up.

"According to multiple dictionaries, there are variabilities in defining the color maroon. The Cambridge English Dictionary defines maroon as a dark reddish-purple color while its "American Dictionary" section defines maroon as dark brown-red. This suggests slight perceptual differences in the U.K. versus North America.[4] Lexico online dictionary defines maroon as a brownish-red. [5] Similarly, Dictionary.com defines maroon as a dark-brownish red.[6] The Oxford English Dictionary describes maroon as "a brownish crimson (strong red) or claret (a deep shade of red) color,"[7] while the Merriam-Webster online dictionary simply defines it as a dark red.[8]"
