Fair enough. Not at the level Chelsea what to be but for a bottom half club he is a brilliant player imo. Did very well for Everton and it isn't as if he has been crap for Chelsea
You aren't interested in finding out if a player we have been linked to is any good? Don't really understand what you mean.
Yeah I'd be very happy if we'd signed Barkley. Will be a big player for Villa. I'd be bloody happy if we signed Postman Pat though by the way things are panning out.
Barkley's a good player and will most likely be Villa's best player after Grealish. Would have liked him, but think for our team we need someone more in the mould of Loftus-Cheek or at least someone who is more defence minded than Barkley.
https://www.nhnieuws.nl/nieuws/2738...oncreet-voor-interessante-speler-joey-veerman The Joey Veerman interest is real but no move going to be made this window. He seems like a great player technically but not what we urgently need in our midfield.
I don't. They haven't got a proven 15+ PL goal scorer. I think they'll stay up more comfortably but Ollie Watkins is not Danny Ings.
Be interesting to see how Grealish and Barkley work in the same team. I wouldn't have minded Barkley as a loan move as we don't have anyone else like him. But maybe we are saving our loans for other players or something...hopefully. Also Villa are likely to pay more of his wages than we would so that is always going to be a stumbling block for us if we are competing with other PL clubs for loan players.
As of April 2020, Tom Heaton was the top earner at Aston Villa, on £42,000 per week. I doubt the new signings and contracts will be that far ahead of that atm. https://www.thenational.ae/sport/fo...eir-new-weekly-salaries-in-pictures-1.1010860
