Agree I was going to add (but didn't) that I expect Labour would counter at some point.

With a majority of 80 it was always a win, Labour was always going to vote against it, it's all about breaking international law and if it's right to do so,some will say the government is just looking after our interests you pays your money etc etc

In my opinion, I think this bill is quite damaging for our country. I try to live my life by example (after many years of not being too nice). I try to install morals and values upon my impressionable teenager. Breaking of contracts/agreements, laws, lying, deliberately misleading people, deliberate false information etc etc are not what he should think as perfectly acceptable. I am quite surprised by people when they moan about others breaking laws or rules, especially regarding covid, yet support their country in breaking an agreement and an international law. I understand they are totally different things but how can you expect people to behave whilst doing the opposite yourself.

I dont just limit the above post to Tories either. Labour under Blair were shocking. I just see society as a whole losing respect and faith in law and order and people wonder ****ing why.

Seems the biggest loser from the presidential debate was the American people. What a ****show.

I missed the US debate but I heard they acted like kids calling each other names. One of our posters on here was spot on saying are these the only 2 people a country with 328M can come up with? a joke.

Trump was his usual bombastic, repetitive, interruptive self. Biden looked like something out of the Night of the Living Dead. It's 50/50 whether he makes it to November

Agree I can't believe the Democrats can only come up with a forgetful 78yr old who has seen better days?

They are both pretty hopeless. However, being a 50/50 split in the debate and a new surge in Trump voters... it could be an interesting election.

    Really?

    https://www.nytimes.com/live/2020/09/29/us/presidential-debate-trump-biden

It all served to keep the presidential campaign about Mr. Trump’s conduct in office, a proposition that to date has left Mr. Biden with a sizable lead in both national polls and surveys of key battleground states.

Well I guess the clan might be happy after his comments the clan members might be even more encouraged to vote

I am watching a replay of the debate now.

Genuinely remember having more civilized and respectful debates in A Level history. How anyone could watch Trump's grumpy, rude and arrogant performance and want him as their President is beyond me. Constantly interrupting Biden, speaking over him, and blaming anything negative on fake news. Wish the Democrats put up a candidate that was younger and a poster candidate for moving on.

I heard an American news reporter say it. I will also add it was the same with Clinton. She had a lead as many Trump supporters keep quiet but vote on the day.

I am no Trump supporter but can see that Biden is as useless.

As I've often said how can a country of 300 million produce such a choice? If Biden wins will he survive 4 years? Still, you never know they might have Kanye and Meghan in 4 years time... <laugh>

I thought it was you Sooper. Agree, is Biden the best they can dig up to go against Trump? I also agree he looks like he is going to keel over every time I see him. <laugh>
