I agree that the whole team looks shaky, they are set up to dominate a submissive team. Its why success in Europe is elusive, its all very well knocking 7 past an also ran, but as soon as they come against a team that can defend and attack they come unstuck. Pep has gotten used to having by far the most dominate side in the league, the prem is different, on their day any side will give you a game.
Unlimited money makes the difference. That’s why they will remain title challengers. Mistakes in recruiting easily rectified by spending more and writing off the wrong purchases. Normal clubs have to live with theirs.
I though City were pretty poor yesterday and pretty toothless for all their possession and Leicester are well set up to exploit their well known defensive deficiencies . To be more succinct
The way to play City, especially a side missing a few key players, is NOT to go toe to toe with them. Leicester played the perfect game yesterday. Sit back and don’t panic. Let them do their tiki taka and nice sideways and triangular passing in front of you. Even after conceding an early goal. Their defence is so devoid of confidence that bursts of counter attacking football are productive. As long as you have a decent attacking force which Leicester have as well as LFC and a few others like MU. Speedsters who can create panic in their defence. They had nearly 75-80% possession and yet lost 5-2. Lesson for all teams going there. Don’t be mesmerised by their passing and possession. Sit back and don’t be scared of attacking them when the opportunity arises. The trouble is some teams are already beaten before the start of the game.
Since City have now lost 10 of their last 40 PL games so i'm not sure that many teams feel beaten before KO anymore .

Famous last words but City are weaker than last year. Poor recruitment combined with their key players now gone or getting older haven't helped. The irony is, for all of City's spending, the players that were central to their success were Aguero, Kompany, Yaya, Silva, KDB - all were bought before Pep ...
Quality players but with the exception of Fernandinho, they're not leaders who drive the team. Barring injuries, we should be walking the league again this year.
Didn't watch any of the games just looked at the results. You can't read too much into the city result although when Norwich beat city in the third game of last season, it didn't bode well for either of them. Some said it was a sign that Norwich would have a good season and others said it was a blip for city. Neither of those things turned out to be true.
