Bennett added Wyke spends more time tangling with the defenders than making attacking moves, not seen any of the games only listened to the radio, but from the very little information I've gleened from the first 3 games, I'd go with Graham as Gabby and Gooch as Gatesy. Haaaawwwaaaaaayyyyyyy the G-Force

I think out the 3 options I'd be surprised if he doesn't put Graham back in for the next game, he is the best of the 3 imo. Surely everybody can see now that Wyke just cannot do it, he just has no intelligence of how to play his role, has no touch and is the weakest 'big' centre forward I have ever seen. Dont like slagging our players but thats the reality of Wyke - hes fking useless

Grigg for me. Wyke wouldn't even make the matchday squad. A truly dreadful player

Sign him on - I'm sure he'd be better than Charlie Wyke <laugh>

Unrelated, but saw Roy Chubby Brown at Fusion (old rink) and sat next to Brian Johnson.

Met Brian Johnson randomly in a studio when I was about to record some vocals for a single I was working on - his niece was in before me and the engineer and I had to double take!!! One of the nicest fellas I've ever met. I was a little starstruck mind!!

None of our front men get across defenders they prefer to hide behind them imo, Grigg is a master of this technique.
I didn't know who he was at the time, but my sister was part of that Shields Crowd and knew them all. all the ones I met were down to earth and good company.

Grigg gets into the right spot. Waits until the ball is about to be played in, then somehow vanishes!! I have more hope for him than Wyke but it's slim pickings!!

Most of the old rockers are lovely people generally (most of that generation of musicians are to be fair) Have met a few of them and all very approachable. Just the modern day ones (and Axl Rose & Noel Gallagher) that are dickheads!!

He got paid off at a club in Hartlepool - opened with "I'm surprised to see so many people here - thought you'd all be at home shagging your kids!!"

Got 20 minutes in and the committee hooked him!!

The Echo has a piece about Parky not knowing his best striking combination...

I think it should be 'least worst'
