To be honest I don’t see why Matt Dean ruled out Kane, when asked about Gotts he absolutely said no, then about Kane he ambiguously said no more questions. Seemed a bit suspect to me...
Probably because it tends to go..... "Is it Gotts?" "No" "Whatabout Williams?" "No, I'm not gonna confirm any rumours" "Surely it's gotta be Kane then?" "As I said...." "Sir Cheshire Ben on a free transfer?"
I signed last Friday ... but as is tradition, I picked up a serious injury on Tuesday & will be out for 2 weeks recurring.
Wonder if it’s the same player terry mentioned a week or two back, medical, fee and everything agreed.....no player so far
If it is Woodburn I seem to remember us being linked with him at the start of last season before he went to Oxford on loan. Edit: Yep here we go, Under Adkins in January 2019 and then McCann in the summer. Clearly Darnbrough likes the look of him. https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/spo...news/liverpool-ben-woodburn-hull-city-2413756 https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/hull-city-linked-summer-swoop-2903944
That was Mayer wasn't it? We all thought it was going to be Randell Williams and it was Mayer instead?
Yeah you’re right. I have no idea then. If it is Woodburn, brilliant, but I fear for Dan Batty this season if he comes in because Woodburn isn’t coming to sit on the bench.
Grant's just very vague, he doesn't like to say much. I know he said it's not Herbie but there was an incredibly long pause before his response which was telling. What is there to worry about? If we want to challenge at the top end of this division, he won't play a big part. He's a decent enough midfielder but we have and appear to be bringing in better. He seems to get the Robbie McKenzie treatment, hyped beyond his ability when he's never done much for us.
