Not very good in all honesty is he. That Villa under 21’s game has deceived a lot of our fans imo, doesn’t look comfortable on the ball and was second best to everything. Still better than Dobson mind.

Its not really possible to make a judgement on a player who hasn't had a settled run in the team. Let's not be hasty!

Thought he was a bit lightweight. Early days though

Verdict is out on Scowen give him a game or two alongside Leadbitter and see if he settles down. Still think that outfield five are all over the place and Parky needs to get his thinking cap on, if hes got one. So far we have just shuffled the pack with little improvement apart from Grant and it was possibly only good fortune that forced that change.
Grant needs the right type of player around him to last the distance, Gooch, Power and Maguire coupled with Wyke or Graham up front is not the answer imo. Players with pace who can pass a ball are required we have them and PP needs to pick them. I do not believe that playing god awful football often desperately hanging on to a one goal leads is the only way to win football matches.

He did well when he moved into Maguire's role. His crosses are very good -- they have pace and curl.

I didn't think he was bad and looked to have some quality putting crosses in. I don't like to be hard on individuals when the whole team is below par because it's not a fair reflection on what they can do.

Its abit harsh judging a player that never gets a decent chance on the first game he does.
There was a host of Championship clubs after him when we signed him, a league that he's played most his career in which is a step above us.

But he didn't get offers from the championship clubs. Wonder why
