last time we started with 3 wins - 1948-9 (when we started with 9 wins)

last time we started with three clean sheets (as above) 1986-7, two wins then a 0-0

last time we started with 3 wins and 3 clean sheets - never

(also started 1925-6 with three clean sheets - a 0-0 first, then two wins)

You forgot managing and physio for both teams and doing the radio broadcast. Then she could probably interview herself as well. All this before she presented Mastermind and replaced Armstrong and Osman in Pointless. Christ she must have one helluva an agent. Can’t wait to see her do Question Time.

There'll be a job vacancy there very shortly.
    A job for Nigel Atkins!
Rooney looked well off the pace.

I don't know why, but when I went onto the link on the clubs site the commentary was the Cobblers one. I had to endure the moaning twats, particularly Steve Phillips I think his name was, who was so biased it was untrue.

It wasn't till after the game I saw on Twitter you can change the settings to away team commentary and get ours.<doh>

.Having slept on the performance it was a really good effort against a very awkward team. Honeyman was a class apart, but the whole backline stuck to their task admirably. KLP also had a good game and a well-taken header. Adelakun showed flashes of class, and the ball through to Honeyman was inch-perfect.

All in all a good performance and win.

I see their manager has said they ‘nullified’ us, very odd thing to say when you’ve just lost.

First time we’ve won the opening three games for 72 years (we won the first nine that season).

First time I've listened to him talk. He seems an intelligent footballer.
